So I recently bought my pro and I'm noticing that if I hit a good size bump or a dip on the road I feel thud and stop of travel in the front suspension (sounds like only driver side), sounds like a bump stop but we are talking regular day driving not baja blasting. Bad shock? Or is it normal? Don't see any leaking.

Does it happen during slow speeds over bumps too?

If it was normal everyone with a Pro would know exactly what i'm talking about because its pretty distinctive and not hard to replicate. Looks like i have a bad shock on my hands.

I had this issue on my first set of SPC UCA’s that ended up being a bad UBJ.

Before you go and change suspension, you might want to check the pro skid plate. I (and many other pros) had a clunk. I heard it most when pulling into the little dip of a driveway. I took it to deer and the skid plate was installed wrong.

I think know what you're talking about. When I go over a drain or dip in the road too fast its like the front hits the bump stops real quick with not much up travel in the suspension. Does that sound like what you are feeling?

I think it's normal maybe we're just going over bumps too quickly? If not, we both have a bad shock haha

lol it could be normal i just find it ironic that i can hit worse bumps and dips with my tacoma all it has is 5100s and takes it like a champ and here we have a $40k+ pro that sounds like its bottoming out. Maybe extra weight is a factor, not sure.

Agreed, I came from a Tacoma and never had an issue when I hit dips, but this thing BA-BOOM!

Check the skid plate, if you see the sway bar there, toss it to the trash. It shouldn’t be on the pro anyways
