    Yeah dude you're exactly right. The red arrow is where I came down, but I went up the section where the blue circle is. It was steep, but plenty of traction. Definitely not as steep as the other sht we did. We must have done a dozen slopes, both up and down, that were like this:

    Dude, you're more than welcome to join. The head-count looks lower than we'd hoped so the more the merrier. Even a day trip would be worth it, IMO. PM me if you have any questions whatsoever. I'm pretty new here myself in a fairly stock '18 so we're on the same level.

    @Spvrtan ,

    Some version of this sounds good for all three groups (yours, @Porschetech29 , and mine). Let try to sort out a meeting spot for lunch where all three can converge. Then same for dinner and camping. Fish Creek makes sense for camping if there's enough wide open space down that way. From there I figure we can go with your plan to hit the southern end of the park near Carrizo Gorge, etc. for Sunday. Thoughts?

    We could probably lunch somewhere in the middle of Ocotillo Wells where there're also vault restrooms and tables, such as the pumpkin patch.

    I don't have a plan right now other than every man for himself. Any ideas? Headcount looks to be 20 total, split into 3 groups.

    It will be awesome if we all show up, individually, with avocado, bacon, Bubba Burgers. :thumbsup:

    Anybody have cool tips for transporting avocados off-roading...? I'm thinking... wrapped in socks and clothing, to keep 'm from bruising.... :p

    Not joking. :anonymous:

    I learned that new off-roading-with-eggs trick from osidepunker, so I'm thinking, there's gotta be a good hack for not bruising avocados.... But, unless y'all tell me, I'll put mine into socks. In my clothing bag. Best I've thought up on my own.

    I still don't know. My RTT STILL hasn't arrived. :(

    If it shows up in time for me to get it on the truck and pack, we'll go up and camp Friday. I got reservations on the tent side of the park adjacent to the Visitors Center. Still a lot of open spaces last I looked.
