Just installed a 6" MaxTrac lift with Bilstein 5100s on the lowest setting.

I might add a 1" shackle to the rear, as it seems the front might be a little big, since technically it is a 6.87" lift with the Bilsteins. I will wait until after my alignment and the truck settles a little bit.

Also installed Sparks paint matched door handles.

I know I need new wheels. These came with my truck, and I hate them.

I drove it to the Golf course so I could hit some drives on the practice range... snapped a picture as I was leaving.
    IMG_6760.jpg

My next repair project is a new drive shaft and rear transmission seal, it was leaking when I purchased the truck... lowering it without Air-Lift bags made the leak worse, it's been slinging fluid on the cats

These were actually replacement lights that are Plug -n -Play or direct replacements for the lights already in the doors. Some members commented on another thread that they do not have lights in their doors. I am not sure about installing without existing lights. :(

These are the direct replacements from Amazon.

I would think you could tap the door/dome light switch, low current LED, should be fine.

Did you actually receive these from Ebay? The reason I am asking, the listing is discontinued - reason "Error in the listing". I have searched them on Ebay and the seller's store with no luck. :(

I have reached out to seller to see if available. Will have to wait and see......

I would compare it to a foamy top. It definitely is better than OEM for grippy-ness.

2ndgenny my truck is a 2nd gen. They have it listed on their site.

Do you still have anything with the part # for the lights you received?
Seller requesting pics to match up p/n. Thinking translation issue.
A p/n should work best. Thanks!

Nope, there is a bad weld on the part of the shaft that connects to the transmission. I'll take pictures so you and others know what to look for. I think there was a TSB about the problem, but my truck is too old with too many miles for any warranty/TSB work.

Thanks! Not sure what year they are but seller called them 'brand new'. Been looking and shopping for a few months, had my eye on the Chromed version of my SR5 Alloys but these really caught my eye for appearance as well as ease of upkeep. I was surprised at their nearly flawless condition, all the way from California.

Did my recycle run today, usually 10-12 smallish bags of glass, aluminum/plastic, paper, and some cardboard boxes. Of course when I get to the recycle place I have to jump up into the bed and throw the bags over the side, damn truck is too tall to reach into the bed.

Main thing that pissed me off when I got there was WTF, there were two huge dings in the roof. No idea how they got there either. Both of them were on the raised ribs. I could swear those dents were not there when I bought the truck back in May of this year. The dings really didn't piss me off that much either, I mean you never look at the roof and they weren't THAT bad(still bad enough to where I'd get them fixed if I could see them).

What really pissed me off is I have absolutely no idea how they got there. No tree branch has fallen on my truck(to my knowledge), the dents were way too big to be caused by hail stones.
