    See fine print
if each push scrolls through the settings, you won't know which wire it is as it is probably the same wires that go through he cycle. it could either be the way I said in my earlier post, or that switch can actually communicate to a "brain" under a seat. like I said before you need someone that is good with a multi meter and do some more digging.

the installer did say there was a brain/computer under the seat that would throw an error if I changed any of the wiring. I guess I need to find an electrical engineer to figure this out or just redo the front seats and sell the current ones.

I've been offline for a few days so I just saw this. This is all speculation based on the ribbon picture you showed and the description you gave, but it looks to me like the switch is really a 3-position momentary switch. When the switch is pushed it "ratchets" - either physically or electrically - and sends a pulse to a controller. Based on the pulse contact (each of the smaller square pads on the ribbon) the controller knows which heat setting to select. one of the longer swipe pads is for the trigger voltage and the other is to illuminate the proper light on the switch. Then when power is removed, the controller is reset to off until the switch button is pressed again.

Someone mentioned a PAC TR-7 earlier. That could probably be configured to work, but it would need to be connected in parallel with and Diode-Isolated from the existing switch. That way you could still have control from the switch once in the vehicle, but you would be able to power turn the heaters on to whichever setting you wanted initially from the TR-7.

I wouldn't mess with the ribbon if you do this, I would splice into the wires going to the 4-pin connector. Again this is all speculation that would need to be verified with some testing.

I'm guessing there is no ground in this circuit. A switch circuit generally just switches the DC power. @jaredmillerdvm, does the seat switch "remember" the last heat setting or does it always start out at the low heat position no matter where it was when you shut down?

The ribbon cable picture you provided has a difference between the driver and passenger switch pads. Does the passenger switch have lights or not? Im trying to figure out why the two pads are different. The passenger pad doesn't have a second wiper like the main and it's wiper is connected to the middle mode pad. The picture below is my guess for now as to how the ribbon is wired.SeastHeat Ribbon annotated.png

It doesn’t not matter what setting it’s on when I cut the truck off, it will be off when turned back on. The ribbon I posted it not the actual ribbon, It was just a reference to what is connected to the switch. @TundraTex
