Had to pull a lady out of a wash this morning. Today's cars are all covered in plastic, which means nothing to hook on to.

I finally had her pop the trunk lid, and hooked on to the trunk latch. Lucky she wasn't stuck too deep.

I’m pretty sure my wife’s Scion has a Eye bolt that you screw in behind one of the square covers on the front bumper. But yeah not too many places to tie them onto you. Which also means you have to go and lay in the mud to get it strapped up.

I am glad that worked. I don't think I would take the risk of pulling a car out by the trunk latch. Anyways, thanks for giving a helping hand to someone in need.

What Sean said... I think most cars have an eye bolt these days. Probably stored near the spare tire somewhere.

Perfect anchor point and you don’t have to get underneath a vehicle.

Kind of like places to put a jack underneath, not many anymore.
