I'm looking at a few different enclosed trailers, in the 24-30' range. The majority have dual axles, some have triple.
Aside from the added weight capacity is there any benefit to a triple axle?
It would be towed by a tundra.

With Triple axle you get high tire wear when turning, always dragging one axle or the other, I tow a tripple axle construction with civil war artillery on it some occassionally, really hate it. also really have to work at correct hitch height to keep all 3 axles on the road.

I was this close to getting a 30' triple axle.. but it was just Soo much trailer.. this one was half the price of the 30 so I'm happy

Glad you went with dual axle. Some states require your truck to have a DOT number when you have 5 axles. I got hammered by Florida Hp a few months back hauling a load of bulls with 3 axle trailer...

Thanks, just completed a 2700 mile trip with the trailer.
had a few blown tires. the tires looked new but they were 6ply. i bought 5 new tires 10ply load range E.
once i got out of california i was able to safely tow it at 65~75mph.
what i found weird is that i got the same MPG loaded as i did unloaded... if anything, i think it did a bit better loaded... 7.9mpg unloaded 8.6 loaded....
