3” level kit in front tires BA exhaust . Custom tranny build , and custom drive shaft(no aluminum) solid steel
Hi there all first time posting long time using these threads to help me and friends . I have a 2008 4.0 . Put a 3” level kit just the spacers nothing else on . Now I’m getting a loud grinding slamming noise when I turn hard or bounce . I found out it was the sway bar and it’s left some nasty dents in my brand new strut coilovers I installed . Is it ok to remove sway bar or possibly grind it down so it clears ? Or do I need to buy new A-arms and end links? Thanks

Welcome. I don't run sway bars on my truck. Lots of people who wheel remove their sway bars.

Right on , I was wondering that . Does it make for an unstable ride at say 80-90mph? I’m gonna take them off I need the extra flex anyways

It's still plenty stable. All it does is increase body roll when cornering. The suspension is a lot more independent without sways. Example: If you hit a bump/pot hole with the driver front you'll feel it in the pass front too if you have sways. W/O sways you only feel it in the driver side.

Haha in a sense that kind of means if you take it off you’re not going to get what you thought you would LOL

Let's be honest... If something goes wrong at 90mph in a 6000lb brick, you're pretty fucked whether you've got a sway bar or not ...

    Alot of them
Depending on what leveling kit you have, it should have came with drop down brackets for the sway bar. The stock sway bar is hollow so IMO I wouldn't grind it.

I put drop downs on mine n it still gets a stress pop . After doing my leveling kit my truck now creaks like a 1980s Chevy that's been sitting in a field . Lol!
