Love the OME Nitrocharger coil overs and rear shocks from ToyTec. If I had the scratch I'd upgrade to the BP's but not going to happen. I will get the DAKAR leaf packs though to complete my setup.

I've had OME + SPC + Dakkar lifts on my past 4 toyotas and I've been extremely pleased with them (including taking 2 of my tacomas through the Rubicon trail on OME). I have a 2018 5.7L Doublecab 4x4. I'd probably rather have 2.5" of lift than 3" of lift up front. I have a 2018 5.7L Doublecab 4x4. I'd probably rather have 2.5" of lift than 3" of lift up front. I'll be going with OME, SPC UCAs, and Dakkar rear packs with the add-a-leaf (I have a fiberglass shell, decked system, and 200 lbs of tools in the back at all times).

I'm trying to decide which front coil to get.
    Rockyroad and Toytec say 812
    lowrange offroad says 814

I tow 7500 lbs from time to time, and I just don't want the front end to feel overly harsh, or overly soft. I'm learning towards the 812s, but most websites state that they were made for the 4.7s. I wonder what the weight difference is between the 4.7s and the 5.7s?

Anyway, i'd love to hear thoughts from someone who has both. If the 612 and 614 had the same firmness, I'd go with the 612. I've had OME front springs that were too stiff before, and I ended up swapping them out for a softer coil. Any recommendation is appreciated.

I just got off the phone with Cruiser Outfitters, and they said the 814s are definitely the way to go with a 5.7 with no bumpers. Good to know. I'll be placing my order today, and filming the install and posting the video on my build thread.

So I just finished the front today I decided on the 612 since I didn’t want to go to high and reading ARB website all the springs are 740 lbs just different lengths. I’m going to use shackles for the back since I don’t carry any weight on a regular basis. I did drive it about 20 miles so far and I have to say I like it. Feels the same on normal roads as stock but when the roads get crappy this thing soaks em up. Made the right choice for me kept going back and forth between this and 6112. The whole thing about having to add a spacer to make it level worried me that the spring rate was to low, not saying it’s not a nice kit just not for me.
I also added UCA from BDS because I wanted normal ball joints and Chicago weather sucks so I knew rubber bushing are far better than poly here. Anyways it’s a great kit stated at 8:30 was done by 2:00 that includes taking the old ones apart to reuse the hardwear

Nice. I wish I went with 612s. My front is sitting higher than I want.

I originally put these tires on factory wheels, but they rubbed the UCA.

    Specs:
    2018 5.7L SR5
    614 front coils
    SPC UCAs
    Dakkar Leafs
    Dakkar add-a-leaf
    Method Con6 18x9 18
    295/70r18 Cooper ST Maxx

I'm tempted to return the tires and get 305/70/18s (35s). Still undecided on the 35s...

I'm getting a clunk in the rear end. The rear shocks didn't compress as much as I expected them to. They bottomed out in the threads before the rubber spacer squished enough...

    Install video coming eventually...

Thanks , I have 3” coach builders on the way then I’ll be back up the way I like it. I do prefer rack and I have a 2018 with TSS and I hear you need it that way.
I have the icon speed six with 33 KO2 for now they are new from another build I sold so I’ll run them at least for a little while until I feel I need 35x12.50r17.

We'll see. I take it off road a lot, and i really dont want to have to trim fenders. Km fine with a bmc and pushing plastic up, but ueah, 35s look good. 35s are 1" wider and .75" taller than these. Not a huge difference, but we will see.

The 814s are significantly stiffer than stock springs.

How much lift did you get in the front and back? Do you have a 4.7L or 5.7L?

I still need to measure the difference before and after. I got more lift than I wanted, especially in front. I have a 5.7L I'm tempted to swap to 612 coils to lower the front end.

Don’t lower it to 612 just add a winch and bumper

    Im accepting donations. ;)

Ive had a winch before, and i used it once in 2 years in about 50 off road adventures. I use my maxtrax a lot more. If money were no object id consider a slightly beefier bumper and possibly a winch. I think that weight would help the front suspension out a bit. Ome's recommendations up front are always slightly stiffer than i prefer.

Maybe ill do a dual batery. Thats almost the weight of a winch, and id use it more...

So I wanted To add a little review I’ve been driving the truck now for a 200 miles with the new suspension. All I can say is that I’m very glad I went with the old man emu the truck rides better than stack and has a lift I was looking for. I have installed the coachbuilder shackles the tallest ones he offers in it puts the back end with just a little bit of rake just like I like it
Anyone who may be on the fence about the suspension I say go for it. I did not buy the coils preassembled and it only took me six hours start to finish in my garage to install it. I’ve always wanted to try the old Man Me and I’m really glad I did

@jzsquared It's good to know someone like yourself installed the OME 612 and feels comfortable with the ride. It's hard enough to find a video on this subject for Tundra's. I've been reading to many differences on what shock / spring / shackle.... you name it and I think I'm gonna go for the Old Man Emu OME 612 package myself. We'll see. I occasionally drive on smooth trails to going fishing and sight seeing. Heck, I'm 99% on the highway anyway. Do you have any other pics?

OME has rusted much faster than stock in a Wisconsin environment.

Did you need to add UCA to your lift, or did the alignment work fine. Do you need a diff drop for this kit. Planning to go 612 like you did.
Looks exactly how I dreamed it should.

Bouncing back and forth between suspension setups (see what i did there?).
Only thing I'm pretty sure of is OME 2.5" front with 612 (short coil) and rear shocks. Was going with Firestone Ride rite in rear, but found out you have to maintain air levels regularly. So in the rear I need control for load (FWC Raven Shell 1k pounds) and enough lift to make it level. Would also like to be able to remove FWC and still have decent ride quality.
    Local shop recommended SuperSprings https://www.etrailer.com/Vehicle-Suspension/Toyota/Tundra/2019/SSA4.html?VehicleID=2019762277

Lemme know what you all think!
