I had one on my 2013 I just traded in and was wondering what the general consensus on them is? I am wanting to figure out is if I will add one to this. I don't seem to see them much anymore.

My rain deflectors, rear sway bar, Westyn HDX side step rail system, and swing out fender storage boxes are coming next week through various purchasing mechanisms.

Plan on a rigid toneau cover and integrated ladder/canoe rack that go in the front and back stake holes for mounting.

I have an AVS Bugflector. It works and I like it.

    Lost track after #1.
I initially bought an AVS low profile shield. It didn't anything for bug deflection but was an interesting stone deflector for that part of the hood. I ended out taking it off though because after only after an hour on the highway it was starting to come up. The double-sided tape was releasing on the shield side of the deflector. I currently have a Tough Guard (textured version) from FormFit out of Canada. It's a very well-designed deflector and offers much better protection than the AVS.

I went with protective film on the front instead.

That's a good thought. I am going to look into that.

I have a smoke colored AVS Aeroskin if anyone wants it. New, still in box with protective film on it. Never been installed.

PM me if you want it.

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
Either your truck is really lifted or he’s very short
His hat is at the same height as your mirror... I’m sure he did a great job as well.
How far up did he go with the clear wrap materials...
    Half hood and front fenders??

It's a little bit of both; 6" lift and the guy is probably 5' 7" or so. He did do a great job, works for Sunbusters here in Austin. I made the mistake of going to another shop here; partially price based, but also because the first guy had just opened a new shop and did a lot of work on high end cars here. I guess Teslas and Tundras are quite different, as far as film. The first guy did a rather poor job, but was a stand up guy, he didn't charge me, offered to pull it off, and actually paid the complete bill at Sunbusters.

The film is on the front half of the hood, grille surround, fenders, and fender flares. That piece around the "scoop" is all one piece, with no cuts. The film itself is SunTek, and it self heals, which is pretty crazy to see.

I guess Sunbusters likes my Yelp review of them, they linked to it on their website! I'm "Jeff D".

My truck had one when I bought it. I think the look depends greatly on the color of the truck; on mine it's not too bad. It's the OEM Toyota version and after ten years of use is still holding on well. I think that it looks alright on my truck.
