I got a great deal on a lightly used ICI Magnum PR for my 2013. It had been mounted, though it came from a closing bumpershop with a full new box of the mounting hardware (two towers from bumper to frame, bolts, etc).

Everything mounted up fine, but when I got to the last step of getting it level and squared up I ran into trouble. It is almost as if the bumper is twisted a touch, like when you weld up a frame too fast and don't account for heat twist when it cools.

If I pull it up perfectly level on the right side, 1/4" under the headlight trim and fender, the other side is way off. 1/2-2/3" under the headlight trim near the grill and touching the bottom of the fender at the wheel well at the other.

Is this common (twist/warp) with these big ass bumpers? Other than throwing washers in as spacers to try and get it twisting correctly, any other suggestions? Or just suck it up and live with it, I got a $1500 bumper for $400.

I have the exact same problem with my DVB bumper. It bugs me because of the gap difference.

My problem is the gap is the opposite on the other side, nearly touching at the grill and 3/4" low at the wheel well. So twisted.

If you can fix it with washers as spacers or oval the holes in the mounting bracket to allow you to pull the front up, that's what I would do.
I have made bumpers for my other trucks and it is hard to get everything even. The bumper may be flat but the frame and holes could be off.

Same bumper but I have the RT. I think they call the one you have "prerunner". I did front and rear. They also make a skid plate. I think it was maybe 75 or 100 bucks for the skid. I didn't have any twisting issues. I'd probably just shim it and adjust it best you can. It might bug you but likely nobody else is going to notice unless you point it out. Mines been on for two years. Powder coat is failing all over the place but I'm also in a northern climate. The coating starts failing at the edges. ICI should have rounded the sharp edges prior to powder coat to prevent this.

They hooked me up on price. I bought everything direct from ICI at the same time for something like 1800.00

You might swing into your favorite body shop. Body guys usually have little tricks to get things aligned better. Might be worth an hour or two of labor to let them try.

Just looking at the photo again. You could probably get some out the old school way of hooking chains to a tree or something solid and use the truck to pull it out. Gonna take some head scratching getting the right pull. Floor jack, chain fall, some lumber, and some delicate tweaking here and there. A monster sized dead blow would help. All that could easily go bad for you though.

I think I'd just go to a body shop. They can anchor it to the floor if necessary. For what you have invested you could spend another couple hundred bucks and still a great deal.

Same here with my DV8 although I bitched and got $150 refunded. Sometimes the jigs get set up wrong.

You might even call ICI located in Arizona. I dealt with them direct. Rafeal was my contact. A couple of their engineers owned gen2 Tundras at the time I did mine. They might have some suggestions for you.
