    It’s an aftermarket brand. I have moog springs for the rear suspension on my 4Runner.

    Bump to see if anybody has actually been able to find OEM LBJ's. I have looked at a few different online sources for LBJ's, and some show a diagram of the LCA and point out the LBJ, but don't have any part listed. My LBJs have been weeping for a while now and I am getting ready to order new tires and I am going to be tweaking the alignment anyway to get better tire wear, so I figured I would just get everything done at once.

    Thanks.

    I used ACDelco when mine started to leak. They've been fantastic so far, and are actually made in Japan still. Moog is made in China now.

    I also used ACDelco made in Japan LBJ's. I purchased a set of the Moog lower control arm assemblies and replaced the ball joints that came with them with the ACDelco's. The Moog arms I got were made in Taiwan I believe. I think some Moog stuff is still quality (K-series), but other stuff is cheap now (R-series). Unfortunately, they don't make K-series LBJ's or LCA's for Tundras.

    OEM, moogs are a big hit or miss on getting a shit set.

    With that said, dont worry about replacing just because they are seeping - unless the boot is torn and its leaking (big difference between seep and leak) I'm in the same boat. Ill be waiting until I see/feel an issue and will replace with OEM. Only bad thing is Toyota sells with the LCAs only.

    LCA = lower control arm
    LBJ = lower ball joint
    UCA = upper control arm
    UBJ = upper ball joint

    Anyway, I decided to go with the Beck-Arnley units. They arrived yesterday. I may not need to replace them, but I have a suspicion that I do.

    I am hoping to have time to do the replacement this weekend, but we shall see.

    Just had LBJ’s replaced with OEM from stealership. Price was around the same as a name brand from a 4 wheel store that was doing a bunch of front end work on the 02’. Told’em to buy OEM from stealership and put’em on.

    They don't sell individual LBJ's at the dealership for Gen 2s. Only the entire LCA assembly.

    Sorry to bring up an old thread but I just want to verify that the LCA ball joint is replaceable? I know you can’t buy an OEM ball joint separate from the LCA so I planned on getting a Moog.
