Got my mbrp this morning and spent all of 15 minutes to install. Very smooth install. Just drove it a couple miles and it sounds good. Actually a little louder than expected but very good. Real deep grumbly exhaust note. I'll try to get a sound clip up

I have had my 8" BAmuffler since April of 2013 and all I can say is it still puts a smile on my face everytime I start it up. Its nice and mellow at idle and still pretty mellow if you are easy on it but as soon as you open her up all hell breaks loose and its magic. You do get a helmholtz resonator with it that you can attach if you want to eliminate ALL drone but I haven't noticed any crazy amounts of drone so I have not put it on. I have definitely noticed a little more "umph" throughout the RPM range and when I tested it awhile back for MPG gains I recorded about 1 - 1.5 MPG gain...and I definitely don't drive in a "gas saving" manner. My video is actually posted here called "8" BAmuffler take off" but its REALLY bad quality. I did it at work on a break from an old cell phone haha. I will get a new one up in the next few days. Happy exhaust hunting everyone!! :D

Awesome. Thanks for the review. A new video would be awesome. I ended up selecting the 6". Hoping it's not too loud. Wife got it for me as a combined bday/Xmas present. Still awaiting its arrival.

@csuviper - you will not be disappointed man...I kinda wish I could hear a 6" in person to see how much different it is than the 8". I will try and get a new vid uploaded this weekend.

not the greatest video, but this is how my MBRP sounds in-cab. This is the 5320 cat back that goes out the muffler right into a turn down in front of the axle.

I'll try and get an outside sound clip of it when the weather is a little nicer than it is today.

I like the added sound. Sounds like a v8 now. Probably the right noise level as there are times I think it's too quiet and times it's too loud. The thing I don't like is that when on it hard it sounds like an older truck and not as deep as I would like. Kinda wish I went with the 8" but I'm sure then I would say it's too quiet as I heard from others.
Some drone but I haven't added the hemoltz resonator yet to reduce/eliminate drone. Will add when it warms up and I have time.

so got my muffler today and install was easy minus the time I had to go to a Toyota dealership and get gaskets cause someone forgot to put them in, not mentioning any names. Like the sound, just what I was looking for. iPad goes crazy on sound clip page or I would've posted there. Maybe mod can place this in correct spot.

@dirtydeeds can chime in, and it’s probably easier to have that conversation over the phone. But in the meantime, here’s a video of an 8” system and I’m pretty much sold on it.

    https://youtu.be/LvM8MerVrb0

Like I said in the other post, I’ve been trying to decide between 8” and 6”, 6” is a little louder, but I think it’s a little raspier too. There’s overwhelming love for the 8” in this thread.

Edit: he also does a TRD system that won’t lose torque like the TRD exhaust, but that one is going to be a little more pricey I think. And from what research i’ve done, I think he said the tundra runs best on a single exhaust. But don’t take my word for that.

Edit 2: FYI, mine will be going on a 2018 Sport as well
