So I got in on the DD group buy and am waiting on their 8" system. When I go to install it, I plan on painting the exhaust pipe black. I guess this is a 2 part'er...

    1. What paint would you all recommend for painting the exhaust pipe? I know there are a number of options from Krylon, VHT, POR-15, etc. and even seen one recommendation for grill paint? I know prep will be key here but I want to use a good product that will hold up?

    2. I'd like to add an exhaust tip to the end of it to give it a more finished appearance. Not looking for anything large or that alters the sound any. Just something small and tasteful for a finished appearance along the lines of the tips on the TRD exhaust? I'm thinking something weld on unless that's a bad idea for some reason? I'm not completely against bolt on but it would have to be something slick and secure.

thanks for the link for blacking out the exhaust.
now about the tip. does the toyota one clamp onto the part that is already flared out on the tail pipe? that one looks good but damn that pricey for just a tip. also does anybody know if its stainless? i know it says black chrome but i want to know what material it is made of. havent had good luck with chrome exhaust parts, they start to rust after a while
