As soon as I sort out what is going on with my harness I purchased from "eledobleu" I probably will. I don't want to get into this whole situation on his own thread without giving him a chance to correct the issue first.

Thanks man, I hope I do as well. I just tried to visit eledobleu's website and see it has been suspended/taken down so that doesn't seem to promising.

My thoughts exactly, I am wondering if other have been having issues with his harness causing him to cut and run. I hate to assume that, especially since the merchant is also a forum member.

 

He might have other issues. Never know.

 

Who knows what's going on. Maybe he made his money on a junk product and split. Sad to think that but its possible. You're one of many who got screwed over, not only harness but also his retrofit headlights

 

That is true which I why I haven't jumped to any conclusions yet and why I am refraining from posting and commenting on my complete experience until I arrive at a conclusion. I have emailed him and PM'd him because I do believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt especially when it is another forum member.

 

Has he had issues with his Retrofit Headlights? Forgive my lack of knowledge regarding this merchant, I am fairly new to these forums and the Tundra scene.

 

Major issues with the quality, damage, functionality, warranty work ....

 

I hope you get a hold of him and he makes things right.

It seems that his harnesses work? I see many guys here with the 2018 LEDS with his harness? Any harness fails??

 

Mine hasn't failed completely. My low beams started flickering several months ago. Went through a complete troubleshooting session to include swapping headlights from a 2018 to no avail and then I contacted the seller.

I was talking with him via email until earlier this month. Sent my last email to him on the 13th and haven't heard back from him since then. Again I'm all for supporting forum members and their products/services, I have done so for years on the BMW forums that I've been a member of. That being said it is becoming harder to continue to do so when they don't stand behind their products. For me it is not so much about the money than it is about the customer service and treatment of the very people who supported you in the first place.

 

Has anyone heard from Leo? I am having issues with my retros and all I get is crickets on the other end of the email... has this guy disappeared?

 

Did anyone have a ground on both sides of the harness?? I also found out while installing I was sent 2 left head lights!!! Doh!! I will have to exchange one!

Have to give a shout out to The Retrofit Source (TRS) they were able to warranty a part that was sold by EldoubleU. This is something they did not have to do, but they did and it is appreciated. At least my HIDs will work again.

 

I do apologize to everyone for not responding. My son recently has passed away and I have taken some time off to mourn. Again I do apologize.
