Anyone else have a rough country light bar in the lower grill with this issue of moisture inside the light bar? I sent pictures to rough country and they want me to loosen the screws turn a light bar on for 30 minutes to dry it out. That makes no sense to me as it should be a sealed unit and no moisture.

I have 2 pairs of LEDs on boat trailer that are hooked up to reverse light circuit. One set is marine rated for underwater and totally sealed the other one has a 67 rating and is good to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Guess which one has moisture in it.

Is it under warranty? How old? I’ve heard people add caulk to theirs, before that happens so dry it out first, if they won’t replace it.

My clone’s still dry, knock on wood.

Well here is what I am being told now, never heard of a light bar that is designed to suck in moisture! Anyone else ever hear of it.

I have one and have had no issues thus far. I believe there is a vent screw of sorts on the side of the bar and is easy to miss. I believe they are asking you to unscrew this a bit. I personally would like a replacement.

Yep, that was me that had on replaced by warranty. They told me to do the same thing, it didn't work and they sent me a new one, along with a return label for the bad one.
