It's what I will get when I eventually get my bender. Eric used his for quite a while...and he does this for a living.
It's not the fastest way to bend tube, but it's better than doing it by hand.

Cool, yeah it looks like a good deal and if you could get compressed air to work the press, it would be pretty smooth. My concern is quality so if he is still using his, that's great!

He literally just replaced it with a new electric hydro setup instead of air over hydro (it's faster). But like I said, he rocked the SWAG kit for quite some time.

If you're looking for a cheap way to bend brackets and tabs, a HF 20 ton press with air/hydro bottle Jack and the swag finger break is pretty hard to beat

So I bought this 300 dollar Keen rod oven that holds 50 pounds of rods. I negotiated it on eBay from a tool company out of Pasadena, Texas for 85 dollars. It was said to look and work like new. I was pretty sure I got a damn good deal at this point... i asked them to pack it well so it didnt show up mangled.

Well they ended up accidentally shipping it to Colorado to another customer an when I called they said they would correct it and get it to me overnight as soon as they got it back. They also gave me 25% off for the trouble. Score!

Friday morning, last week I got the oven on my doorstep. I opened the box and it was packed well on all but one side. This unpacked side had nothing but the cardboard box... and sure enough, there was a dent an scratches in the paint. All on the back side. But its just a rod oven right...? Well I was a little annoyed just because I made it a point to tell them to pack it well, so I simply told them I received, thanked them and sent a picture of the dent and let them know one side wasn't packed.

They sent me an email back saying they were sorry and hoped I would buy from them again. They also said they were going to refund 100% of my money...! I emailed back that they didnt have to do that and the box worked fine, but they insisted. I honestly can't believe it. Not too many companies out there like that anymore.

    Here is the box:

Certain rods, like 7018, have to be kept in an oven after the package has been opened to keep moisture from getting hydrogen in the flux around the metal rod. If the rod gets hydrogen in it, you will get hydrogen in your weld pool. This will cause porosity in your weld... No bueno for caca. Some people say you can heat them back up to remove moisture or not to worry about it if you are just working on junk. But I like doing things the right way or not doing it at all. 7018 rods work really well, but are supposed to be back in an oven within 4 hours of being out of the oven or the original package.

I like that this oven is easy to take with me too. Has a handle on the back.
