If yours is an epic fail, I will eat @KevinK's dirty socks... and enjoy it. @Bo-Hunter you need to bring your truck to AZ so we can drool over it

Whatcha got cookin? I have a thought about replacing the stock receiver with one that comes out through the license plate. You could put the plate on a hitch and remove it for recovery or towing.

Just haven’t seen an aftermarket rear bumper we like enough.

Yeah I’ve been looking out the last two years and still haven’t seen one I like. I’m just going to have one built. Basic tube bumper with the hitch moved up. Got a lot of inspiration from seeing Bruce’s Bumper.

I've got the Westin bumper that relocates the hitch to behind the license plate. Works well but it's just fugly AF! I agree with Joon that Bruce has a bumper that's really close to what I/we ultimately want.

Didn’t have to go far, did I? It’s right above. LoL.

Yeah I see the functionality of that, but agree it’s not the most subtle thing.

 Yeah, not subtle. And, it could be better on the departure angle.

It's a little better than stock but in the pics you took (post 543) you can see the bumper on the ground. Now imagine just the upper tube and no bump out.

I'm thinking sell the Westin and let Milo have a blank canvas. Why, you wanna buy a Westin? haha.

I just like the hitch so I can still tow my space shuttle. Maybe 2 when you get yours?

I have been looking at your Westin since this weekend. Let me know if you do pull yours off. I tore off the bottom tabs this weekend on mine.
