So long story short the back window of my truck needs replaced. The two outside panels are broke but the middle slider is good. Can you replace just those two or is it a complete unit. If it's a one piece is it possible to put one in like the limiteds have? Where the whole window goes down? Does anyone know how much one costs? Was a long day yesterday....

mine is not a limited and I have the whole window going down so I think it would work in yours.
    Mine is a crewmax though.

Man that sucks. Sounds like a heck of a story. CrewMaxes have the rear window that slides down. I haven't heard of anyone trying to put one on a DoubleCab but it really doesn't seem like it would be impossible. Subscribed.

No clue. Is the window physically damaged? I have glass replacement coverage on our vehicles ...already replaced the wife's brand new Highlander windshield with OEM...saved about $1k there.

I read a thread where an owner tried to put a CM rear sliding window in. HUGE undertaking. Basically he had to graft the back of a CM to his cab, they're that different.

I read the same thread. He had to cut the whole back of the cab off and graft the back of a crew max cab on it.

Yes mine had the power slide. So I picked it up yesterday and it has some after market "power slider" brand in it not a Toyota one..... I'm not happy about it one bit. It's not a flush fit it sticks out and has a big seal around it.. Am I wrong for bitching and trying to make them change it??
