I'd hold out for the toytec kit. Have read some pretty negative things about other kits. And whatever you do, don't succumb to the LED craze, they just don't seem to work well in the spyders

Well I definitely wasn’t gonna do led....but toytecs shipping is ridiculous and our conversation was less than stellar so I’m trying to go outside of them but still buy their product. But damn I’m impatient.....hate waiting

I currently use Kensun HID's and have not had to replace a ballast or a bulb. I order from Amazon and installed 3 years ago.

HID's brightness so to speak vary on the level of Kelvin you select. I think 5000k or 6000k is the brightest (most white) anything really below 5K is getting you back to halogen colors of 4300K and lower. I have 6000k they are plenty bright, some see a slight blue at 6000k. Anything higher than 6000K you'll start seeing color hues like purple, pink and so on.
I would stick to 5k or 6k the colors I think are stupid on a vehicle as they don't provide any more clarity while they are on. Click here for more info on color Temps.

I got the 6000K now, but when these bulbs are done I'm getting 5000K. In put the 5000k in my wife's vehicle and I like those better.
