I need some help, running out of fuses lol!

Trying to rewire my old rigid backup lights to this switch. The switch has no diagram to reference. I blew 2 fuses trying to figure it out. When I removed the original rigid switch everything worked well, lights came on and went off and the red lighted switch worked when the lights were on.

Not 100% sure on my wires, they came from rigid and I think its:
    Red 12v
    Black ground
    Blue to relay for switch?

    The tabs:
    On top is gold #3
    middle is silver, #2
    bottom is silver #1

Right now I have it wired

    #3 gold- black wire
    #2 silver- red wire
    #1 silver- blue wire

Result is my lights come on and go off as I would like, but the led on the switch remains on no matter what.

    I swapped and went
    #3- blue wire
    #2- red wire
    #3- black wire

Then my led worked correctly but the lights didn't come on.

I tried using the #2 tab as ground originally but that blew a fuse at the power wire.

    Any clues?

Found this, it appears that this diagram says the gold #3 tab is power, #2 is light, #1 is ground. When I put them in that arrangement my fuse blows. This shouldn't be so complicated.

2nd one from the bottom, hard to see but in the pic the gold tab is at the top.

Figured it out. If any first gen guys are watching, these fit perfectly in the oval blanks and also come in red, blue or yellow light.

    Instructions were ass backwards.

    Gold #3 ground
    Silver #2 light
    Silver #1 12 volt

    Looks pretty good.
