HA! I think so too. But this old fat guy got a shower, some Mexican/Bolivian brisket and a few gose's plus a second wind. Gonna play cards with nieces and nephews for a bit.

I've been trying to find that round tuit for that. I printed out the directions for it already.

@driverdog Jim, thanks for the guidance and doing so much. And for the extra height.

I found out why Jim is called driverdog, he sure drove me like a dog:thumbsup:

It could have been better, but I’ve never tried headlight restoration before. THE 3M Finesse It really seems to work very well! Thank you sir.

Yes sir, Finesse it 2. Torq BUF503X DA. Lake Country orange pad.

I’d say I spent around an hour, probe a little over. I kept working on the driver’s side for quite a while, trying to get it completely clear. In the end, I’m thinking some of the hazing is actually on the inside of the lense. I couldn’t get a few spots to budge at all.

Jim, on the second one, I tried rubbing lightly with some fine grit sandpaper first, while keeping it wet. It got the whole lense hazed up a lot, but once I started polishing with the Finesse it seemed to have sped the process up quite a bit. It definitely seems to go faster than the first one did by adding that step.

I started to do some polishing on my daughter’s hood, but it was supposed to start raining any minute. I put all my stuff up, and it never rained. If I’d known that I’d have done a whole lot more today.

My wife was happy though. She said the headlights look brand new.

Hydro2 is such a great product, and so easy to use. I’m like you, I experiment with so much stuff there’s not telling how many layers are on my vehicles. That test I did with Beadmaker was a rare time I didn’t have Hydro2 or Reload at least on the truck.

I put wax addict on the side mirrors and door handles today and they look great. Then was told that was enough truck for the weekend and to get on the porch railing. Sand and clean today for prime and paint this week.

Question, would it be good to use reload or hydro2 on the powder coated bumper?

So it's been about 10 days since the event and I'm still loving what p21s and waxaddicts tire feeder did. My tires still have a nice black shine to them that just makes the truck look new

@Yoturmotor, I just purchased some P21S, Gonna use it on my wife's rims. That Wax Addict is for real. I still have a good matte black finish. Looks good Kyle

Funny enough I brought some to work with me today. I plan to hit a self service wash bay on the way home to give it a good wash. It’s still too hot here to wash in my driveway until after 8:00, so I use these places to keep it out of the sun.
I last applied Hydro2 in I think April or May, and about five weeks since I applied Beadmaker. The last few days there’s been rain, and while it’s still working pretty well, the hydrophobicity (is that a word?) has degraded noticeably. I did use Eraser before applying the Beadmaker, so I’m thinking that is all that’s really left on it.
I wish I could tell you how long Hydro2 alone lasted, but as you know I tend to try and stack a lot of products on top of each other. I’m not sure if I’ve ever rolled with only Hydro2 on any of my vehicles.

I know a lot of people feel like it’s a waste of product to use more than one, but it’s just something I’ve always done. In the past, my go-to has been a base of Hydro2, followed by Reload after drying. Again, I don’t know if it has any benefit, but it’s my process that I feel works for me. I feel like the Reload serves as a sacrificial layer, extending the life of my sealer. I could be completely wrong on this.

Today the plan is to wash with Reset, (still the best soap I’ve tried), apply Hydro2, and dry it off. Instead of Reload this time, I’m going to top it off with Beadmaker. I’ll roll with that combo and see what kind of longevity I get from it.
Of course once I get good enough weather to do a good machine polish, I’ll be stripping it all off.

By the way, I’ve always done 1:6 with Hydro2

I got some of the P21S based off of reports from you guys. It does work very well. Better than products I’ve used in the past. That said, I was also turned on to Poorboy’s Spray and Rinse Wheel Cleaner at pretty much the same time. I’m going to do further testing, but my first impressions give it an edge over P21S.
I’ve mentioned before that I absolutely hate doing wheels. The Poorboys pretty much does what it claims: Spray it on, let it dwell for a little bit, and spray it off. No real agitation necessary. If the wheel is pretty bad, you’ll need to scrub, but for an already relatively clean wheel, it works without it.

Poorboy's Spray and Rinse Wheel Cleaner 32 oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009R2WC8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_a9lTBbYS9C0G1

I also tried McKees and Car Guys Wheel cleaners recently. Both P21S and Poorboys are far superior.

Waxaddict Tyre Feeder: So far, nothing comes close in ease of use and longevity. I’ll occasionally use Meguair’s Tire Gel if someone prefers a more glossy look, but outside of that it’s Waxaddict all the way. I’d say only Car Guys Tire Shine is even in the same galaxy.

Yea, I caught that about the 1 to 3 delution. I'm going to order me a bottle so that I can seal the whole truck, but I still have to wait a bit to let my front end cure first.

So I tried the hydro2 and I got different results then yall. I first washed the tunny and got the whole truck wet, then sprayed the hydro on and rinsed it off. I ended up having streaks around the whole truck after I dried it off. I could tell it was repelling water when I washed it off but not a fan of the streaks. Rewashed the tundra and then applied waxaddict pour on wax and that cleaned big blue up really nicely

I haven’t had streaks when I’ve used it. How did you dilute it? Was it applied in direct sunlight?

I used whatever concentration @driverdog gave us. I wasnt in direct sunlight, only partial because I did it this morning when the sun was behind the house. It didnt really dry up, though I did the whole truck before washing it off

Hmm. Not sure. I usually spray the whole truck before rinsing also. There was a question about which dilution ratio was accurate. I’ve always done 1:6, but there was some confusion about it. Seems some bottles were labeled differently from others.

On the other hand, I had major streaking with the Waxaddict pour on wax, and it worked well for you.

@driverdog sample was not deleted enough and was too strong. He only deluted it 3 to 1 and we are now told it should be delited at least 6 to 1. Also, did you do the whole truck at a time or work in sections.

Edit: just reread your post. You did the whole truck at once and it's advisable to work in smaller sections at a time.

yeah I guess that would have been more advisable, though spraying the whole truck took around 6 minutes so I figured it wouldn't be bad
