So, the 2018 TRD sport I got a couple of weeks ago came with 20” wheels, has anyone seen if there are guys wanting those wheels instead of 18”. I rather have more tire than wheel. Just wondering how others feel about 20s.

I like mine so far, but hopefully in the future add a lift etc. and fit in bigger and wider tires..

sybng, those are 20's? They look a hell of a lot bigger than the 20's that came stock on mine.

They are sought after. The service manager bought mine before my new 18's were even on the truck.

Are you referring to the stock 20”s?

Mine were the TSS wheels that came on my SR5. They're not those.

I think all crewmax look better with a 20” wheel because it matches the size of the vehicle. Furthermore, a 285/55R20 A/T measures to just over 32” giving you 6” of tire all around.

That being said I downsized to 18’s because of wheel choice (not made in 20”) and road comfort. Additionally, going off-road and in weather will allow some additional buffer to avoid damaging the wheels.

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
18s came stock on my truck and I went to 20s, 3/1 Toytec lift.

I almost bought a TRD OR for the 18s but when I saw the TSS had KO2s I went with it. Tires were more important to me. I am like the OP I prefer more tire and always said 20s don't belong on an off road vehicle.

I dropped from 20 to 18 and put on a larger tire. It's overall bigger by quite a bit than my 20's. And what @Stumpjumper said, 20's don't belong on an off-road vehicle.

You can get same stance with 18s. Just more rubber less metal.

Stock for now, but have TRD Rear Sway bar for it.
Sweet!!!!!!! I'm thinking about this exact tire. Looking at same size just what ever I can get best price on for tire.

18's would be great, but I don't wanna have to buy wheels too. That's an additional 600 to 1000 easy + new tires.

Personally i like the 20" on the CM for looks. But if you're doing off road the 18" or even the few 17" wheels that fit will be better suited for off roading. If just on road then 20" will do just fine.

I paid $2k for the complete set. Think the tires were 140 each.

Hey Ron, what size tires came with your TSS, same suspension as a standard TRD? I have a 2018 and looking to buy some TSS wheels and tires.
    Thanks

I have a set of limited 20" rims with pressure sensors for sale if anybody wants them, center caps show some wear, but the rims themselves have a few vey minor scuffs. came off my 2014 limited, I went with 18" rims in order to get more tire and push the tires out to match my fender flares.
