How's everyone liking topcoat still? I'm still using it on both our vehicles... I must be on my 5th coat by now..makes it so easy to clean the vehicles. It's great you can use it on all the surfaces.

Yea I still use, it’s a time saver really, just spray and wipe and it looks like you did a detail that took hours.

Side note: I had about 5 coats on the pro before Harvey, I drove the truck during the storm, when I washed it a week or so after it felt like it had washed off, then again that was a shit ton of rain so it’s to be expected I guess.

Yeah I gave up on keeping the truck clean for the month of September lol. Definitely looking forward to some colder weather and less rain. Plan to get several coats on this winter.

It was a slippery slope for me. I moved on to more professional detail products. I still use it on my mom's gx470 though.

I’m still using it. It does hide light scratches but nothing deep. I still like it as it saves me lots of time over traditional wash and wax etc. though nothing is better than traditional, this is a good method for people w limited time like myself or people that are lazy like myself lol.

I did purchase the gallon so I have to finish it lol. I’m halfway through it and will re asses after it is gone.

I don't think it would remove swirls - I would use a DA orbital and a very light compound for that.

I do still use it, I just applied a coat to my wife's 4runner a week ago. It rained immediately after. When the weather cleared I pulled into the carwash and rinsed clean before hand drying. Looked like I had just waxed it.

I especially love it for wheels, plastic, and other trim. It makes everything shine like it was new and deflects all of the crud. It comes off with soap, which is the one downside. I am considering going to a sealant/wax for the paint and then using the F11 for all of the trim and wheels.

Yeah I have become too lazy to coat the whole truck in it so i just hit the rims and then the lower portion of the doors and fenders where dirt might sling up.

I also still use it and I also bought a gallon, it’s not the best product to hide swirls and neither does it last a long time but the shine you get in such a short amount of time with a minimal amount of effort is awesome. I don’t have much time to spare out of my busy schedule to do it the traditional way.

I know it's not good but since I got my truck I've been doing monthly unlimited washes at the car wash and cover ur ears it's not the brushless type. Soft cloth machine spinners on the side and a spin n grab on top. I've noticed little very light scratch here n there n can see swirls in hood when look for it in direct sublight. So if that don't tell u how little time and effort I have to clean I don't know what would.

I'd like to take better care n get it right getting very light swirls n scratched out then keep up on it the right way. Hence I've been looking at c.g products n this.

I was even thinking I could do the same for most of year but once in while do it right. Haven't decided, I have so little time. I also have very hard well water at my house which is another reason I don't wash proper at my house. I go to car wash then dry water spits at home in bout 20-30 min with microfiber towel.

I'm also considering Ponying up for professional paint correction with ceramic coat or what the guy recommended that I know very little about called attic coating. Says best in my area n same price as ceramic, claims better too, does whole entire truck for a grand. That price was over a year ago when the paint was damn near perfect n needed almost zero correction. I'm guessing it went up next time he sees the correction needed from car wash.

I don't know, I'm all over the place, but really need to figure it out. I love my truck n want it to last forever, I take lot of pride n it almost always looks mint. It's just not perfect up real close in bright light die to car wash. I know I shouldn't, I just can't beat the convenience of 5 min from my house OMW home from work with a 20 min dry in driveway b4 going in garage. I gotta figure it out though and right now I'm lost. Here I thought knowing so little about detailing, I thought I was doing a great thing 30-40/month unlimited washes. Didn't know they were so bad for it.

Maybe @SouthBoundSteve can help. Sounds like you may need at minimum a polishing. Then ceramic coating is certainly a great option if you're willing to invest in it. Going forward, do washes at home (tons of great info here on washing) or at least find a touchless carwash nearby.

I am using Smartwax to wax my car. I never use F11 before. How many car (SUV) to cover for one 16 oz bottle ? Also I hear a new product PruduXa, anyone know about that? Thank you.

I still use this product, there may be better, longer lasting methods/products out there, but for people tight on time like me that want a shine that looks like it took hours to acquire, this is hard to beat.

I’m not sure about this stuff. Reviews are mixed, and for that price it would have to be a ton better than Reload, Bead Maker, or Gtechniq C2V3.

I use it and love it. Easy to use and keep clean. I read reviews too but my coworker swears by it so I tried it. Glad I did
