Hey everyone! I’m looking for a retractable tonneau cover. For the owners that have this type, what brand did you get, how much did you pay, and do you love it?

Had a Bak retractable, was ok until backing material on under side came off, also had some alignment issues. about 3.5 years of use
Recently got Bak Revolver X4, liking it, not retractable, rolls up on top. Liking simple design better., also like not having canister for cover to retract into think about 1100.00 after tax.

I’ve got a Pace Edwards Switchblade. Paid about $900. I liked my American Roll Cover I had on my Ferd better because it had metal slats but that thing was expensive. My current one has aluminum slats underneath with a vinyl cover. But it’s already been 3 years and it’s holding up well.

Reason I picked the Switchblade was because it had one of the smallest canisters, could be removed in a couple minutes, was lighter weight and was the cheapest one I could find. I don’t regret getting it though.

Couple things to consider when going retractable. They’re not very good at keeping out water and dust. The canister takes up a lot of space. I wouldn’t even get one with a Crewmax.
