Nothing wrong with that. Many of our calibration clients are contract manufacturers and are extremely good at what they do. Made to customer specs. You don't need to own a factory. You hire one!

Lasernut pulled all of their social media posts with pics of pelfrey stuff down yesterday. I'm guessing there's a line of people calling to get stuff that may be left over.

I have personally melt the Pelfreybilt family and wish them the best in this difficult time. They persued the American dream of building a business in the industry they loved. Government regulation, rising supply costs, product liability or lack of proper business Managment practices.... we will never know the true cause . No one I mean no one (ok Maybe Attourneys) prosper in a Bankruptcy scenario. There was not some mastermind scam bilking people out of there money and I hope everyone recoups as much as possible. I also hope the family is able to resurrect themselves and provide quality engineered products again perusing there dreams. For the rest of the naysayers, I look forward to you checking out of your jobs and building a brand.

For someone looking to buy parts this has me thinking and super thankful i didn’t have the money to buy their sliders just a few weeks ago.
Are we supposed to now tell vendors no money till you actually fab the product? I’m pretty sure a lot of small shops don’t have the capital for that.

I'm saving up for these. Price drop made up my mind. Slee of Golden , CO makes some real beefy sliders. They were $1600. Slee is highly regarded here with the local 4Runner/FJ community . http://www.sleeoffroad.com/products/tundra_sliders.htm

If you pay deposits with PayPal or a credit card you also have some protection. If a company just wants cash that would be a red flag.

    Flux capacitor!
I paid for some retro headlights with my debit card and didn’t receive anything for three months. So my bank refunded my full deposit back to my bank account. It was a process to get my money back and it took a few weeks. My bank needed receipts of payment. The fraud department used my emails to the retrofitter showing my numerous requests for my product and proof of any progress. So email documentation is very important for matters like this.

The Tundra sliders finally dropped to $1145. A lot more doable for me. $1600 was a bit much. They don't have much for the Tundra but some damn well built sliders.

Damn, guess that means they won't fit my 46 gallon Transfer Flow. Too bad, they look great and are an actual step, not just a tube that you CAN use as a step. I have dents in my shins from wet "slider/steps" among other things.
