    You're not making this easier! Though I just remembered I am going on a 3 month trip sometime in the near future.

    @Grumpy Uncle
    Depends, I guess, on how you use your truck and how you plan to use it in the future. The Decked Drawers really ruin a truck beds use if you haul bulk stuff like dirt, sand, block, rubble, mulch, hay bales, lumber, etc. when that was what I did, I always had 3/4t trucks, they are better suited anyway. Now I have a utility trailer for this, when needed.
    I’m retired and have a knee replacement as well as a fused back, so don’t do that stuff much now. I do still like to explore deep into the woods and mountains and prefer to go solo (with the wife) so the truck is sort of a bug out/over lander/survival rig with everything I need to get back home or stay put for a few weeks if needed. For a place to keep all the extraction gear and survival crap, the cap and drawers work pretty well.

    I like the idea of keeping my recovery gear and other gear like my tools more secure and easier to get to. I think it has to be better than my current set up of adding or taking out multiple Pelican cases.

    The Decked drawers are removable BUT if I were to haul dirt I'd rather go to U-Haul for their $19.95 special.

    “Removable”?
    So is the transmission, technically.
    Unloading the drawers, disassembling the deck, removing the tie downs, and taking the drawers out would be a full day for me.
    No thank you!

    I don’t have a helper. My back is fused. My knee is replaced. I can not reach over the side with the cap on. It’s an all day job for me. I get shit done. I don’t need help.

    Thanks. I looked at Rhino before and I think they make awesome racks. I’ll have to pull the trigger one of these days.

    Yep, on my list. Have you ever had problem with the height for in-door parking? That’s one thing that worries me.

    I went with one on the cab, and crossbars across the bed for the tent. I've had 5 adults standing on the one on the cab with no issue. (they may have been dancing)IMG_3087.jpg

    Got a ARE Z series on mine the other day. Gotta take it back to the dealer to check out since the "trimless" edge is resting on the paint in spots. Either they didnt trim it back enough out of the mold or it needs a thicker rubber gasket to space it up more and away. Other than that very happy with it and one of the best looking ones out there in my opinion.

    Does anyone know of a high roof fiberglass shell that fits the beds of the 2014-2019 models?

    I really want a leer 122, but they only fit the 2007-2013 beds. Im half tempted to cut one of those up and extend it by a few inches to make it fit, but im not sure the curve of the tailgate is the same between 2013 and 2014.

    I want something taller than the 180 and the mid height ones. The only options im finding are the custim aluminum work ones. Id rather thave fiberglass if possible. If you know of any manufacturers who make a tall shell, id love to hear, as my reaearch is leaving me empty handed.
