Any suggestions for a nice AT that wont affect my mileage? I would like to go a bit bigger but I don't want my gas mileage destroyed. I do a lot of interstate driving and use hands free talking so I don't want to go with a MT that will be a distraction when I'm on a call.
What size should I go with?
    Thanks in advance!

I stepped up one size taller to a 275/70-18 Nitto Terra-Grappler G2. They’re a bit louder than the gumball, p-rated LTX tires that came in the truck, but not enough to be a distraction when in the phone. I’ve put 37.5k mostly highway miles on them in 16 months and they are still at 9/16” tread depth.

Overall, I’m pleased with them. Admittedly, I want them to wear out soon so I can install some SCS Ray 10’s wrapped in K02s in the same size.

If you want to maintain gas mileage, keep the stock size. Best mpg you will get with it is going back with a 275/65/18, in the load C or D. The other bigger than stock jump up to a Load E tire, which is heavier and has an impact on mpg. The 275/70/18 is a good size and will certainly work, but being a 10 ply tire, I would make sure you can live with a 1-2 mpg drop. Much of that will depend on your driving style and stuff, but I would bank on a 1 mpg drop. If you can live with that, I definitely say go with that size!

As far as tires, you will get 100 different answers. the BFG's are good, Nittos, Cooper AT3's, Toyo, etc.

I like them, I feel like they may have some noise, but nothing I would call excessive by any means. To be honest, I thought my truck had road noise when it was stock, so I haven't really noticed too much different, although it's been a while since my truck has been completely stock. I first went with Mastercraft AXT's and liked them, then put exhaust on, now ridge grapplers haha.

KO2s were good to me. Decent mpg and wear.

I went through 2 sets of Hankook Dynapros on the Tacoma with no complaints. Got 40k miles on the first set and could have gotten 5 or 10k more easily. But the sidewalls were soft (P rated) and I don’t know how they would hold up a full size truck.

I'm running Nitto Terra Grapplers in a 275/70R18 and have about 58,000 on them and they are still running smoothe and quite. Great traction in nearly all conditions, just stay out of sticky clay, they seem to hold on in the tread pattern a bit longer than I'd like.
