This is just something I've been thinking about and making a list for a while. I like a lot of the cars you see at your every cruise in, the 1968 Camaro, 1957 Chevy, early 60's Impalas, 60's Mustangs, they're all fun cars, but I'm more interested in the stuff you don't see much of. I'm a huge fan of the Bill Mitchell 1960's era at GM.

Some 60's/70's iron I'd like to own
1959 Buick, hell I am not picky about door count or trim, very rare and angry car now days.
    1961-1962 Cadillac Coupe Deville
    1967-1969 Cadillac Eldorado
1970 Cadillac Deville convertible(same year as Boss Hogg's car, doesn't have to be white/white)
    1971-72 Buick Riveria
1965-1966 Pontiac Bonneville or Catalina 2 door hardtop
    1967 Impala SS 427 Sport Coupe(the fastback)
1977 Lincoln Mark V Bill Blass two tone blue/white
    1970-71 Camaro Z28
1977 Trans Am, Solar Gold with hood bird, must have 400 Pontiac motor
1973 Trans Am, 455 Super Duty
1968-1969 Dodge Charger, no vinyl top please
    1970-73 Plymouth Cuda
1969-1972 Chevy Blazer convertible, top always down
1969-1972 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser- IMO the coolest station wagon ever made!!

Note I didn't mention any sort Pebble Beach sort of cars(ie over 100k), but there are a few I'd really like. Mainly because they completely shattered people's expectations and moved the standard way up.

1963 Corvette coupe, 327 carburated/4 speed(I intend to drive it, fuel injection models are fussy)
    1966 Corvette 427, convertible/4 speed/Nassau Blue
1961-1968 Jaguar E-type coupe, preferably a later production year
1971-73 Lamborghini Miura SV- green, orange or yellow. This would be the crown jewel of my collection. I can't think of another car that just turned the world on its ear or shattered expectations quite like the Miura. I saw one in a museum and literally spent 30 minutes just staring at it and taking pictures.

I'd also like to own some nice 80's/90's iron, notice a lot of this is Japanese. Main thing I'd be looking for is the right drivetrain options(ie 5 speed over auto) and original condition.

1990-1991 Toyota Supra Mark III 2.5 R(1JZ-GTE/5 speed!!!)
1992-1999 Toyota Soarer with the 1JZ-GTE/5 speed combo(used to own a 1992 SC300/5 speed, no turbos sadly)
    1993-2000 Toyota Supra turbo/6 speed
1986-1989 Toyota MR2(supercharged would be nice)
    1990-1993 Celica All-Trac(JDM spec please)
1992-1996 Camry, the world's nicest example left if I could find a super duper mint one, preferably a wagon
1985 Toyota Hilux 4wd, Xtra cab, a marty mcfly clone, don't care if I had to do a full restoration
1984-1989 Toyota 4Runner that is bone stock and perfect
Any sort of 1980's/90's reg cab/5 speed/22R truck to go bang around in off road
1980's/early 90's Toyota Century, really want the long wheelbase limo model
1980's/90's Toyota 70 series Land Cruiser Diesel

1996-1999 Chevrolet Silverado, 4wd, Reg cab/short box, 350 V8 with a few mods, pavement cruiser
    1998-2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6-t-top
    1993-1996 Corvette ZR1
1992-1997ish Dodge Viper RT/10, the roadster model, gotta be red with the 3 spoke wheels
    1996 Impala SS
1986-1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA, 5.7 TPI V8, no t-top
1986-87 Buick Regal with the turbo 3.8 V6(not a grand national, you could get a regular regal with the same drivetrain that had pillow seats, vinyl roof, column shift, baby blue or ugly green, all the granny options)
1990-1992 Cadillac Brougham with a 500+hp LS engine swap. Owned one of these, only thing that let me down was the gutless stock 350 TBI Chevy truck engine.
1979-1985 Buick Riveria- really cool looking car IMO, one of the few cool/good cars GM made during that shit period

1991 Mazda Miata Special Edition-British Racing green/tan leather/tan top, pop up headlights
1998-2005 Mazda Miata-my track car, maybe one day it will get an LS V8 engine
1993-1996 Honda Prelude Si, made 200hp and ran mid 14 second quarter mile stock. Still my favorite Honda in terms of pure style as well.
    2000-2004 Honda S2000
1990 Honda CRX Si, JDM spec, this car had 160hp, weighed 2000lbs, revved to 8000rpm, had VTEC technology a good year or two before it came out on the NSX.
    1992-1999 Acura NSX

Hell I will even throw Nissan some love, even though I hate their company now

1989-1992 R32 Skyline GTR- gotta have one of these, twin turbo inline six, AWD, nothing quite looks like that boxy coupe now days either
1990-1996 300ZX twin turbo, really wish it had the RB inline six, but I'm a sucker for the styling on that car
1991-1993ish Nissan Cedric/Gloria, big luxury car, I think they look pretty cool and you don't see them in the states like the IMO better built but more boring Lexus LS400.

So this is an abbreviated version of my list.

    Too many to list.

Need an early Ghia, one in hard top and one in convertible. Need a Rometsh and a Hebmuller, throw in a Zwitter and a 21 window while we are at it. I honestly would need Jay Leno money just to get the time to list my version of the Jay Leno Garage.

I'm not much for classic muscle cars. I like the high end Euro supercars. So with that much money, my stable would have a bunch of those. Naturally there would also be a kick ass Tundra and a couple sweet 4x4s.

A full time employee or company on contract that delivers me something cool every time I get bored or whatever I'm driving gets dirty. No waiting, no shopping just, "I think a German sports car would be cool" and have a Classic Porsche in my drive days later. Maybe text them a picture when I see something cool.

As far as "newer" exotics, I really don't care about having the latest, greatest, most expensive thing, just something that I personally enjoy.

    1980's/early 90's Ferrari Tesstarossa or 512TR
    2000-2004ish Ferrari 360 Modena coupe/manual trans
    2000-2006 Lamborghini Murceliago/manual trans
    1st gen Audi R8(2007ish to 2015) V10/manual trans

Of course I'd love to have a Koensseegg or Pagani, but IMO those are just still pie in the sky dreams, I can't imagine having a car that expensive, that fussy, something I couldn't get serviced, something I would feel too nervous to actually take out and drive on a public road.

That's why I love Jay, he drives his cars. Yeah there are maybe a few "concourse queens" in his collection, but for the most part he drives all his cars.

I remember a funny story he told about his McLaren F1, this was like late 90's/early 00's. He took it to a car show, a couple of black guys started talking to him about the car, they were very knowledgeable about it, Gordon Murray designed it, production numbers, they were real enthusiasts, yet they straight up looked like they were out of south central, bloods or crips gang bangers. Against his better judgement, he took these two guys on a ride in the McLaren F1, they shot out of a tunnel at like 120+mph and got pulled over. Jay was shitting himself, like holy shit I'm getting pulled over doing 120+, and there are these gang banger dudes in the car with me.

Cop walks up to the car, both of them flash their badges, undercover LAPD special gang unit, they apologize profusely to the patrol officer who pulled them over, officer issues Jay a stern warning to keep it under the speed limit. Jay said he literally shit his pants lol.
