So I’m trying to remove a bolt on my passenger seat and have used everything from sockets to visegrios and now the darn head of the bolt is all screwed up. Any ideas of how I can remove this bolt. I’m at my wits end.
    Thanks
    Sarge

go get the correct socket size? depends how bad it is, but you can usually still get it out with the correct socket.
If you've FUBAR'd it, then you need a bolt extractor. You basically drill into the bolt with a special tool and it will back it out.

Might be too late now but did you try a closed ended wrench?

Thank you all for the comments. I will get to work on it. For the life of me I can’t figure out why it won’t come out even with vise grips.
