Went to install my eaz-llift WDH today only to find out I can't due to the v-nose of the trailer. Attached is the picture of it. I can however install the anti sway. I leave in less than 48 hours for a long (2400+ mile) trip. Should I just use the WDH as it is, ditch the WDH and just use the anti sway, or cut the WDH saddle and mount both?

Trailer is a 20ft enclosed 3500lb dry, about 6000lb loaded w/ dual 5200lb axles both with brakes.

Looks like you need shorter bars. No way to get a different WDH that fits in time? Can you machine 2 holes so the U bolt can be placed forward for a vertical chain?

What is the tongue weight loaded? Are you getting much V drop? If you put a level on your trailer and truck and it’s fairly straight across, just use the sway plate and skip the load bars for now due to your time limitations.

I would consult e-trailer by phone or chat before moving forward with any suggestions.

I called the manufacturer and they said it is possible to run the WDH with that much angle but it is not advised as it can bend the mounts. After the fact I found out that the sway plate wouldn't mount with it in the current location. I knew I should have sprung for the anderson WDH instead of cheaping out on this one (a quarter the cost of anderson). However now I am finding things wrong with the car I was going to haul up to the meet so I am not 100% certain I'll even be taking the trailer now. Keep the input coming though just in case.

From the picture it looks like you can slide the mount back a little to gain what you need. Take some more pictures from a little further away. The seller or instructions for the round bar hitch should of given you a minimum tongue length for proper fitment.
