This is what I made for mine. It would be best to pick your extinguisher first. Once you know what extinguisher you want, I can help with sourcing brackets if needed.

I have a hg250... it comes with its own bracket but if you want a third strap you will have to get another or Amerex b417 bracket or equivalent and steal a strap off it. Just go to your local fire equipment supply or wherever services fire extinguishers.. they have what you need cheaper than ordering online I have found. The rail mount is simple fab.

Same extinguisher body as mine. I just combined 2 brackets, 1 definitely was not enough. Ordered brackets from Zoro.com. Few more pics.

    Thanks for the input guys.

@Vizsla what did you use for the rail mounting? Looks like 3 pieces of flat bar and some bolts.

I think I saw a pic of one mounted in @GiantsFanDan's bed as well. Maybe he'll chime in.

1” bar stock and steel plate. Home Depot or Lowe’s. I use a few different methods to attach to the bed rail, but in a rush just used 2 elevator bolts. Ground a flat on opposite sides till it was 1” and forgot about it.

1” bar stock fits in the bed rails perfect. For light stuff I just weld a bolt through 3/16” bar stock and grind the head down. If you don’t it hits the rail attachment bolts. For heavy stuff like my bed bars I use 1/4” and just drill and tap it accordingly. Never felt good about how the available t-nuts fit, maybe I tried the wrong ones.
