Picked up a speedo calibrator and front bumper shim. Saving $100 on the calibration by doing it myself. Hopefully the bumper shims will help with rubbing. The less I have to mod once the suspension is done, the better.

New clutch slave and world's cutest antenna for my GTI. Didn't realize HOW small it was when I ordered, less wind resistant and that's my story.

Damnit!!!!! I thought I was being all sneaky and downloaded the UPS App so I could click “back porch” hoping the UPS guy would be courteous enough to walk all the way around my house.
My wife never checks the back porch for packages.
Well, I watched the camera today and sure enough UPS guy came through!
Then all of the sudden the wife during dinner was like “I’ll let the cat out” and I was like - “oh shit!!!”
Then.....wife was like “uh, what is in the King Off-road box”
    Fuuuck!!! LMAO!!! I got caught!

Yea! So I was like “babe, the owner before us put these spacer things on and I blew a front shock”
And she was like - “so you have to get off-road shocks?”
I was like - Yep! Then they’ll never blow again!
Thank the Good Lord she didn’t ask how much they were.
I just replaced all of her shocks on her mom-mobile (Pathfinder) and she knows that ran around $400, so I know she figured $500 for the Kings.....little does she know :)

LOL!!! I’ve figured it out for the most part - it’s taken 20 years but I got it down I think!
It was new wheels a few weeks back - I didn’t think she’d notice LMAO.
Told her the tires were very unsafe, and since I had to buy new tires - might as well buy new wheels.
Thankfully I make the money and she knows I just do what I want anyways.
Damage control - ask for forgiveness, never permission ;-)
