    New windshield wipers....just getting started
To scoop or not scoop....that is the question!

Had a 2000 4-Runner and thought the scoop looked pretty good on it. But, I'll be honest, not overly impressed with the new scoop on the Tundra.

That, plus only in CM and a huge price increase. Nope. VERY glad I bought the '17 when I did....

Trade tariffs should have much if any effect on vehicles made here, like the Tundra.

Also, it really depends on region. Not every dealer marks up Pro’s above MSRP. My local dealer attiwlky discounts them all (albeit barely, but still slightly under MSRP). Sucks that in some parts of the country it’s just a given that dealers will mark them up.

Interesting! That’s good to know information. If you happen to know that your dealership has PROs on their lot, I would be cool if you could drop us all a line of notification.

As someone who has owned both a 3rd gen Tacoma and 3rd gen Tundra. The 3.5l in the Tacoma is a fine motor, just not in the Tacoma. There's not much low end power in the motor, you have to rev it out to get anything out of it.

Yeah that’s what I’ve heard. I wasn’t bashing it saying it’s not quality. More that it’s just not good for that size and weight of a truck.

New Pro Fox suspension is little over $2700. For that money I can buy ADS, Kings or Fox with high and low speed adjustment.

Yes I belive they get heated seats as well. Some also get a OEM block heater with killer integrated plug. I inquired on this block heater for my Pro, my dealer couldn't get one since they are only for the Canadian market.

    A bunch
In Edmonton, Alberta area (I believe most of the province as well) Toyota makes block heaters standard for new sales - still have to pay for it as an option, but I've yet to see a Tundra that didn't have one.

I remember one cold morning I went to start my Xterra at the time, it was -28 no wind. I did a double take at my outside thermometer. X barely wanted to turn over. Hence why I got a block heater for the Pro. Has yet to get that cold since I've owned it but another Winter is approaching.

I just rented a 3rd Gen Tacoma on a recent business trip. You're right. It did ok as long as you had your foot all the way to the floor. I put 160K on a 2000 Tacoma and almost bought a new one. So glad I bought my Tundra and not the Tacoma. My Tundra feels like a rocket compared to the Taco. Toyota really messed up on the 3rd Gen tacTac imho.

Yeah, they built a nice truck overall, just a lack of upgrading anything underneath the truck plus that motor trans combo they put in it really wasnt a good choice. They are selling so I guess that's what matters.

Still cant believe they are using rear drums on a modern vehicle (and also trying to sell that it's better for off-roading...)

I liked both of my Toyotas well enough but I dont see myself going back to the brand when it comes time to get a new truck. But, I never say never.

No, we don't have any block heaters around these parts. You might want to pick one up from one of the northern Toyota dealerships. They may still have them.

I spoke to the Sales Manager at Toyota of Kirkland in Washington State and they are selling 2019 TRD Pro's for $500 off MSRP. Currently, they have three on order, all in Black and White.

    Flux capacitor!
Here’s some photos of a 2019 TRD Pro that’s already sold at a local Texas dealer. I like the blacked out headlights! I’m surprised with the tires that are on it though. 0CD162CF-A4B7-425F-BFF3-40FD7230B528.jpg B887B589-BD51-43C5-9148-BD60CFABF826.jpg 9C5CAACC-A5CF-4EB8-BF10-BDB32C743BEB.jpg 1E2547DD-7441-4928-88C8-3A3B03439D80.jpg
