Cigarette lighter/power ports

    gooseneck hitch, trailer brake
    I changed out my 24F battery with a 27F. I wanted to avoid re-setting everything, so I used my memory saver (9V battery plugged in to one of the lighter ports).

    I haven't plugged in the scanner to see if it saved the codes, but it didn't save anything else, not the trip odometer, not the clock, and definitely not anything on the Pioneer unit. And it has worked on every other vehicle I have used it on.

    Has anyone re-wired any of the 3 ports for always on power? I was surprised when I found that none of them were.
