Yes the lights are 2x2. The measurement is of the actual lens. The overall dimension is 3x3 on the face of it.

Do the lights contact the windshield when raising the hood? Like the clean install.

Sway bar end link quick disconnect #2:
My first attempt I tried making a disconnect out of the stock sway bar end link. I had bought a cheap end link off of Amazon to build it with. Well bolting one on to the lower control arm the Allen key at the end of the bolt stripped out well being tightened. After realizing how cheap the part was that I had started with I decided to go a different route. I made new disconnects and have had them on for about a week now. They are working as planned. Disconnection and reconnection is easy as long as the truck is sitting onrelatively flat ground.20180801_180701.jpg 20180802_171556.jpg 20180809_185113.jpg 20180814_161408.jpg 20180814_160148.jpg I cut the head off a 7" X 5/8 bolt for the main shaft. The heim joint is 5/8 X 5/8 with a 1/2" reducer. A 1/4" pin connects the two. I used about a foot of 1/16" cable to tie the pin to the top of the end link. Then I drilled a 1/4" whole at a upward angle of 45° in the frame for the pain when it is disconnected.

Very thoughtful. Is this sway linkage something you thought up? Or, did you see it somewhere? I love the creativity aspect and the safety cables set up.

I got the idea from a buddy. He has pretty much the same thing on his 3rd gen 4Runner.

Ok, stupid question here. What is the practical purpose of disconnect sway bar links? Easy of access to steering components? Performance off road?

Disconnecting the sway bar is for off road performance. It allows your front suspension to operate independently of each other. It makes for a smoother ride on bumpy dirt roads. It also helps to get more flex for better contact with the ground. Some people just take there sway bar off. But with no sway bar on what off road performance you gain, you lose in on road performance. So basically I like having my sway bar disconnect well off roading. But I like to have it connected well on road. Especially on windy roads and well towing. The quick disconnect just makes it easier to switch between having the sway bar on or off.

My understanding is, and a reason to go with the RCD lift, is that the spindles that come from RCD are much more substantial.

The beefier spindles is one of the reasons I picked the RCD over the Tuff Country. That and I can fit 35s on opposed to 33s with the Tuff country lift. Not only that but one day in the future I will still be able to medium or long-travel it. The leaf pack is one of my favorite things I have done to the truck. With 11.5 inches of travel in full flix and around 500 pounds more payload.

I got a custom one piece driveshaft made. It's a lot lighter and eliminated my issues I had with the old two piece due to my 4 inch lift in the rear. I went to B&W Driveline Plus. They did a good job and so far i am very happy.

So far so good. The only issue I have had is when disconnected sometimes dirt or mud gets down in the female part of the heim joint. Making it impossible to get the shaft of the end link back in the heim joint. Most of the time I just blow it out with my compressor to clean it out. I also had to replace one of the pins. The little locking ball popped out.
