Guys not a problem, my truck is always in construction sites. This year has been particular entertaining with the amount of rain we’ve gotten. That a regular hose doesn’t quite cut it anymore...lol.

No worries though, will be very interested to see what everyone uses. Hoping this Old Dog can learn some new tricks

@kwinfield94 , please add @Will to the attendance list. I work with him. He's not a Tundra guy but has a sweet 2018 Jeep Willy and enjoys wheeling and related. He wants to come hang with the cool guys and maybe learn a thing or two.

@marc32 I use Solution Finish on exterior trim. It seems to last a long time. It is similar to a dye, so you have to be careful with it. It’ll stain clothes for sure.

The only drawback is price. It isn’t cheap, but a little goes a long way.

Solution Finish Black Plastic & Vinyl Restorer - Use for Car and Truck Detailing - 12 oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006NZRAFE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_sy9IBb5PTHMBK

Besides that, I also really like Car Guys trim Restorer. It’s longevity is really good, though second to solution finish.

CarGuys Plastic Restorer - The ultimate solution for bringing Rubber, Vinyl and Plastic back to life! - 8 oz Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071FRWWRF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_cz9IBb1R6JFZF

War Machine, and the rest of you here are awesome. Its a shame I don’t see the comadarie on other forums as well.

Thank you for the first suggestion, the “Solution Finish”. I’m ordering a 2 bottles of it.

Some of you are bringing down canopies and for those that aren’t and want one. May I suggest you go to your local Home Depot and grab yourself one of these.

I go through 2 canopies every year for either, work or play. Usually they are pain to put up because they require a second person to assist. Not with one, a single person can put them, and hardware is beefier then other I’ve seen in this price point.

Awesome. Let me know what you think. Nobody else I know uses it.
Careful when you first open it. It’s very runny, like ink. I poured way too much out the first time.

We are getting closer and closer to the the event. If you or someone you know is coming to the event, please let me know so I can update the list. And please pass it around to others people who may not be on the forum. The more participation the better. @driverdog has gotten some really great detailing products from places and our detail clinic will surely be a great success because of it

    Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to remind everyone that the official Tundras.com meet and greet is coming up soon. This will indeed be a grand event. I also wanted to tag some of the newer members from the Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina and personally invite you to this even. Also, you do NOT need to be from Virginia for this event. All are welcomed.

Newer members from VA, MD, and NC come have some fun.

Where abouts were you? I'm in Beaufort, NC. About a 5 hour drive to where you guys are meeting up, bit of a haul for me.

I would like to get the whole mid-atlantic group together for a beach run at Cape Lookout. The vehicle ferry runs from Davis, NC. Beach driving is free. You can drive the entire length of South Core Banks, beach and back road. Beach camping is free as well.

Hey @BayRunner thanks for reaching out. Sounds like you guys are going to have a great time. I have family in the Richmond area and my son is stationed in Virginia Beach. We try to get up there once a month or so. I had already committed to NCBBA for a beach clean up at Hatteras that weekend. Other wise we would have loved to come. Again thank you for the invite!:hattip:

@driverdog @Angelslure wondering if we want to try another short meet to discuss travel plans for the tidewater contingent? I can't make it this weekend, but the next is wide open. Maybe get a few others with a second one.

Just checked and the Steelers have a 1300 game on the 16th, so Saturday the 15th is best for me.

I'm going to the dirt track races Friday night. Usually get home about midnight or a little later, so that might be a little early. Maybe 930-1000? And donuts...yum.

Was in the Manteo area on Roanoke Island. Very easy going and relaxing. Ah, 5 hours is nothing.... Took me 2 days to get down to you're area, but took the scenic route (by water). You interested in coming to our Tundras.com event?

Was on vacation for some R&R. My route took me down he Chesapeake Bay and then Down the ICW and across the Albamare Sound. Not bad until you get to Shallowbag Bay on approach to Manteo. Narrow channel and very shallow out of the channel.

You were still a few hours north of me in the Manteo area. I would have to go all the way around through Elizabeth City or I would have to cross the ferries at Ocracoke. I'm fairly isolated down here, I like it that way.
