I just cancelled my subscription after 14 years. The pricing was getting a little ridiculous for the buffered low quality audio that they stream. We have a lot of HD stations in our area plus I stream now thanks to unlimited data. I haven’t missed it. Even an ad free pandora is $5 per month.

But if it’s free for 10 days I’ll listen to it. Shouldn’t be anything to sign up, I think they just activate the radios for 10 days.

Holy eavesdrop Batman! Thanks for the headsup, I just realized they can track you when you turn it on. Good thing we still have a landline we filter for spam calls, maybe I can change the phone number in my account somehow (I’ve never paid for it but I think I do have one). Usually I just unsubscribe to their emails. I admit I am enjoying commercial free specialty stations while it’s free right now.

I typically use the local AM news station, Bluetooth content on my phone, USB sticks and we have one top 40 HD FM station in my area, or occasionally Spotify but that uses cell data. Sound quality is best with high quality content on the USB sticks. I refuse to pay for Xirius.

usually if you just call and tell them your cancelling because of their ridiculous pricing and tell them Pandora’s free they give you a better deal. With that said I don’t play the games anymore cause I have 2600 songs on my phone and free pandora so I’m set lol

How well does SiriusXM work in the boonies where there is no FM reception or cell service?

Just got back from a long road trip and got me thinking.

Its L-Band satellite. The only problems I have had is when a mountain or canyon blocked the southern horizon.

Lol! I did notice. I use the search button rather than make new threads about the same topic which would cause the usual response typically reserved for newbs :D
