Found these 18" Fuel Mavericks on CL with 35" tires for $1k. Seller doesn't want to split the wheels and tires but he offered me the set for $600. He said they are 18x9 8-lug wheels. He isn't sure about the offset. What do you guys think of the deal? Is the price good? Will they fit my 255/70/18 stock tires? Thanks in advance!

Edit: Seller said I need some adapter to be able to mount these wheels. What is this and where can I find it? Thanks

wrong wheels for your truck. you would need to sell them first, keep the tires and mount them on your rims but even then you might run into some issues with current stock offset and 35"s

Sorry for the confusion. ImI buying them only for the wheels, not tires. I have no use for the tires. I want to use my stock tires.

Sounds good. 3 months to go. I can wait. I just really hate the stock steel wheels they are so damn hideous

Not ignorant at all. Pass on the deal. You will find a better deal! You would be basically be helping the seller to dump his rims on you and then you would have to waste your precious time instead of his selling them!

Are you gonna be lifting/leveling your truck? If so you're gonna want to get the right wheels with proper offset and back spacing to reduce possible problems with rubbing, something to think about.

Stock suspension for now. May do something down the line. Maybe a 3/1-1.5. looked at a kit from Toytec for $800. Seems to be highly liked on this forum.

Yup. Wanted to start off with wheels and then suspension and tires once my shitty bridge duelers wear out(only 3.5k). They are terrible on wet pavement.

    You’d need 5x150 lugs.
Ford or GM wheels won’t fit unless you get an adapter, which doesn’t make sense in any way.....

When you get new rims...keep those stock steelies. They just might come in handy. Be perfect for running with studded tires in the winter unless you live in FL...
