So, one thing I've been wondering: where do y'all gas up at when driving down the road. I'm looking at a 28-29 foot travel trailer, and pulling into your average station does not look easy!

Other towers had recommended using truck stops, like Flying Js or Loves, but I can't imagine any of those pumps carry normal unleaded gas like the Tundra uses... I suspect it's all just Diesel!

So, how do you determine what gas stations to use along the way to avoid getting stuck, or even damaging something?

I usually plan my stops on the route I am traveling with google maps. You can get a good idea of clearance issues ahead of time that way. I also carry a 5 gallon can with me since these truck only go 200 or so miles on a tank. I had to fill up using the can before cause I could not fit in the station in a tiny coastal station.

Not sure how things are back east, but out west here most stations by the interstate are built with large vehicles in mind. I don't tow a ton, but I've only had one or two stations ever be a problem with our 30 ft travel trailer.

    The ones with fuel....

I have never ran into a problem when towing. Plan ahead, look at the fuel station as you're pulling in and have a plan. Be patient and have co-pilot spot for you in tight situations.

running boards , TRD sway bar and tundra 08 SR5 wheels. FRACmod, pop&lock and backup sensors installed .
truckstops are the safest bet , the front gas pumps(not the diesel fuel lanes out back ) are generally much larger than regular gas stations . The outside pumps will be the easiest to use.
