    Hello All!

So @SouthBoundSteve suggested I make a little post explaining the difference between TIO2 and UK 3.0 for those of you who are either considering ceramic coatings for your vehicle. If there is enough interest in the two, I can also post up the Application process of the two. I originally typed it out but I didn't want to clog this thread with all the info, so ill save it for another thread.

Im gonna cover the differences between the two, and answer any questions you all may have.

Protection: So both coatings are very good coatings and will provide your vehicle with great protection against light abrasives, industrial and organic fallout, UV rays, and alkaline.

    • Tio2: is usually best suited for Warmer environments and will protect against UV rays stronger than the UK 3.0, which still has adequate UV protection in the first place.

    • UK 3.0: specializes in use in colder climates. The UK 3.0 Will add additional protection agains chemicals, and especially salt. While still providing the protection that the Cquartz brand stands behind. This coating is suggested for working temperatures below 60 Fahrenheit.

Both coatings are really great for your vehicle and will work well as a ceramic coating for whatever environment you are in. Go with the UK if you are in a colder climate, or if you just want that little bit stronger protection. But don’t think just because its considered a step down from the UK that you are getting any less of a coating with the TIo2. It will still provide you with great protection to your vehicle and beautiful results.

So, since I already have the UK on hand, I need to drive to Minnesota to put it on. Got it.

Just kidding. Great to have you here. I’m a big fan of your company. You can send Steve his commission check now.

Is CarPro the only ceramic coating available to us as a consumer?

What’s the difference let’s say with 3.0 vs Ceramic Pro?

Can CarPro 3.0 be used on glass and trim etc?

I been curious with these coatings for a while now. We just applied 3.0 on my buddies Z. Great results but just curious on longevity.

Claybar, 2 stage polish then 2 coats

After paint correction on left side. Before any coats.
