Instead of leather, get cordura. Lasts far longer, and is more utilitarian. If you're anywhere near Bozeman, MT you can have Marathon Seat Covers install them for you. Otherwise, its not that bad. I've had mine on for a year, and they're amazing.

Well I wouldn’t say it’s exactly reasonable. I think I paid 150 or so for the bottom cushion.

Here’s what the seat looks like in a limited with the leather off.

Wonder how difficult it would be to upholster over a thin gel pad for those that don’t have heated wires to worry about.

    Lost track after #1.
More than I expected, but not too crazy. If I ever get around to monkeying with this mod I may have to go junkyard scrounging instead to see if I can find an old seat to tear up first.

I'm assuming those are seat warmer wires?

It might be doable, but the grooves that run across the seat bottom and back have little plastic clips. On the seat cover there is a little plastic bar that runs the whole length of the groove that snaps into the clips. So you may run into problems with a large gel pad, maybe a couple smaller ones in between the grooves, but they might shift around.

I’ve done that with Harley seats before using memory foam and gel inserts.

@thomasbus337 what seat heaters are you running? Currently installing leather in my buddy’s crewmax.

I actually have one these NightRunner kits on the way. Katzkin only makes them for the Double cab though. And it's a very expensive kit, because it has the Barracuda perf and is only made in the higher "regular" leather content. But I got it discounted because they happen to have this one left over. If anyone is interested.

If I can ask, what was the normal price for the NightRunner kit?

A little of this and a little of that.

That looks awesome! What did that set you back?
