I got my lift installed and alignment done today. Numbers seem close to what I told them but want your opinion. The steering wheel shakes bad at anything above 40mph. I’m taking it back tomorrow to have them check the tire balance as well, but wonder if I need to make any alignment adjustments? Thanks for any input you could give!

Lift - ADS coilovers, MCM UCAs, Deaver K37s, 3/4 shackles - approx. 3/1 lift achieved

Tires - Toyo open country A/TII 285/75/18, method race wheels +18 offset

Any results on this? BTW I want your alignment numbers haha currently have Camburg uca.... might make the switch to MCM. But for the steering wheel shake I have no idea. Maybe the wheels got a bad balance. Or a wheel weight fell off? Sorta have a slight issue with shacky wheel on the wife’s 4Runner too.

Those numbers are fairly close to mine, minus the Caster, I'm closer to 3 degrees.
    Total toe looks good.
I'd rather be on the positive side of camber slightly (like you are), since the front end could settle a little or settle with added load.

The shake sounds for sure like a wheel out of balance. Are the tires new as well?
Had a friend with a set of Nitto's (37's) that would not balance with weights. He must have brought it back to the shop 2-3 times. Required the ceramic balancing beads in the tire. The truck was perfectly smooth at every speed after all the weights were pulled and they put one bag of the beads in each front tire.

Ended up being one of my Method Race Wheels was calling for over 20oz of weight for just the wheel itself. Currently going through the exhausting process to return it to MRW. I purchased a new one that balanced great and everything feels 100x better. Still pulls to the right slightly but overall the truck drives great.

The alignment numbers look good to me. You could use more caster on the right but if it's not pulling, don't bother.
I would guess your steering wheel shake is from the tires/ balance?

Yup one of my Methods was way out of round. Bought a new one and shake is gone. Pulling slightly to the right but it’s a 100x better now

 Another .2 caster on the right might eliminate the slight pull. Maybe @Vizsla can verify?

wow corey! did you visually see all the weights on one wheel. 20 oz is over a pound ... thats insane! you figured the person balancing it would figure something was not right with the wheel. i am glad you figured it out.

can anyone confirm what is the range of weights to add during wheel balancing that is acceptable. thank you in advance.

    cheers

just had my method roost balanced and saw a strip weights added to one wheel. looked closer and noticed they were all 1/4 oz weights. they feel good and have driven them over 75 mph just to test.

Ya needless to say I am no longer a customer of the first tire shop I went to. I know there is a lot of negative reviews and opinions on Discount Tire out there, but the one in Buckeye, AZ was phenomenal helping me fix this issue. Went out of their way and charged me next to nothing to fix another shops negligence. Gained a customer

As far as I know there's no standard but 1% of the tire+wheel weight is generally considered acceptable.
