Ok, i love my ride in my 18’ Crewmax, however I am scheduled to have a level installed tonight...Honestly, will this mess up my ride at all? A little? A lot?

Leveled with spacers? If so it will have a harsher ride due to preload on the coilspring. Nothing wrong with a spacer lift unless you do heavy offroading.

All I know is 3” front 1” rear...then I have to probably get an alignment

Alignment for sure, probably spacers up front and a block under leafs in rear. It will be fine as long as no hardcore offroad, speedbumps and potholes a bit harsher with factory size tires but with a 3-1 lift you will prob be getting bigger tires soon. Post some pics after the lift.

Harsher ride will only be if the spacer is in the coilover assembly. There are 2 types: either coil spring spacer that is mounted in the coil over assembly, and will have a harsher ride due to preloading the spring, or a strut extension, which mounts on top of the strut to just make it a little taller. This will not significantly change the ride. Most leveling spacers are the latter.

Either way sounds like she needs to extend her bump stops if you don’t want to ruin the shock over speedbump‘s LOL

Meh, anytime you extend the coilover by whatever means you will end up with a harsher ride, same reason most guys dont do the full lift on the 6112 bilsteins (i did). Not trying to argue, just want to be realistic.

Now if you soften spring rates and valveing maybe, but then will that be adequate for the increase in tire weight (from most likely e rated tires) in a size that will fit the lift. Didnt even mention the loss in down travel, care to discuss more?

Op will have a fine truck.

Hey thanks you guys for helping...I really do appreciate it...i will post pics before and after tomorrow...the guy who is doing it has a tundra as well and seems as though he knows what he’s doing...his truck looked pretty tough...I’m so excited...and yes I’m pricing tires...I was told I would and I have the itch already...so I’ll prob sell the originals since they only have about 200 miles on them...that will help offset the cost of the new ones...I hope at least a little...:fingerscrossed:
