Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Awesome tire. Better than BFG imo.

    So another question...

How much difference in gas mileage would 295s make vs sticking with my original plan of 285s?

Trying to convince my husband I can fit a 295/70 on my truck without having to tuck anything or trim much....I'm already planning to take off the small front flap off.

I put STT Pros on my last truck. I ran them for about 15k and then I traded it in on my Tundra. They look great but were too loud and heavy for me. They probably had another 15k in them, they were wearing great. I found 35" STT Pros at Walmart on sale for $280 a piece. I couldn't pass that up.

When it's time to put new tires on the Tundra (replace the KO2s that it came with), I will be looking at the Ridge Grapplers or Toyo AT3s more than likely.

I agree that the Defender LTX are functionally probably one of, if not the best tire for street driven trucks. They don't look very good on a modified/lifted truck though. If they make the right sizes (22+) they might be good for lowered trucks on big wheels.

X2^ and Michelin has great customer service if there is ever a problem. Used to run Nitto grapplers until i tried a set of Michelin LTX tires and haven't looked back. As soon as the stock tires wear out on the Tundra will go with Michelin. I also noticed Michelin tires seem to balance easier, less weights, than other brands we have tried, but may not be true for everyone.
