2019 TRD Pro Pricing

Interesting article and pricing comparison to the Raptor..

People will pay it.
Only difference is dealers mark up 20-50k on the raptor.
Max I’ve seen on a Tundra pro was 10k.

Also worth noting the 4Runner jumped about the same amount.

They $900 difference is also between the Pro, which is a Crewmax, and the Raptor "SuperCab", which is even smaller than a Tundra double cab. The SuperCrew Raptor is almost $4k more than the Pro.

Anyway, I was surprised the article was pretty favorable towards the Pro—most outlets say the same "it's outdated" schpeel in every article.

 

Huh? Really? Is that with a bunch of add-ons or just from the stock Raptor?

 

I think that the top of the line Raptor is much more expensive than any Tundra could be. I actually test drove the previous model Raptor (2013) that had all the bells and whistles, plus a supercharger. I must say that I were really impressed with its performance and ride quality. However, I could not afford the $72K price tag. Felt really disheartened that I couldn't afford it for a few months afterwards. My sorrows were short lived when I test drove a 2014 1794 later that same year. I bought it immediately for $42K. Ironically, I found out that the Raptors have many issues and that their resale value falls approximately 60% in the first year. People who bought Raptors only kept them for 2.5 years on average. Tundra owners keep them for much longer.

 

Never really looked into them, just seen the mark ups browsing them.
