I appreciate it. How did you or them mount the lights in the holes? Any chance you could snap a picture or two from under/behind the bumper to see how they are mounted?

Why would cruise control matter? Did something on the 2018 change from the 2014?

Yeah it’s got laser guided cc the sensor is in /behind emblem
I want to know mainly if the top bar on that bumper interferes with it?

Well this obviously isn't a 100% tested answer, but I think it is about as educated of a guess as you can get. The bar is quite a bit lower than the emblem, and if it is in fact a laser as you say, lasers are pin point accurate, not a wide beam... at 70 mph you are traveling 103 ft per second. If that laser is reading out in front of you, it has to be further than 103 feet out as it would take a 6,000 lb vehicle much longer than 1 second to stop and you would have covered that distance in that 1 second. So I would assume its safe to say, if you were to measure out about 100 feet in front of your truck, put your head on the ground and can see the emblem of your truck, then it wont effect it. That would at least be my reasoning.

    Your listed as a 2016 1794
My question is for anyone with this bumper on a 2018 or 2019 truck because the cruise control and the auto brakes work off a Radar in the Toyota Emblem

I've been looking at these bumpers after reading all the great reviews on them so far but wanted to ask if anyone has made progress on the trailer light hookup as far as drilling out a spot to mount it or how yall are mounting it so far not fond of it hanging down low have had them rip off on older trucks

Hey so I’m planning on buying this bumper in the next week. Did anyone get this winch? https://www.ebay.com/itm/KO-Offroad...ep-Truck-Fairlead-85-Steel-Cable/222049509862

    Overall Dimensions: 20.9" x 6.3" x 8.35"
    Mounting Pattern: 10" x 4.50"

I really like it for the price and everything but the seller said it possibly is too big for the bumper. Not sure if anyone could help me out with if it’d work by looking at dimensions but if anyone knows that’d be great! The other winch I’m looking at that will definitely fit doesn’t specify what kind of cable or length or anything so that’s kind of sketch

My Engo 12k winch fit just fine. It has a 10"x4.5" bolt pattern and bolted up to the existing holes just fine. You can get a Engo 12k winch for the same or slightly cheaper price than that winch there and the Engo winch comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame and all mechanical parts. The electronics have a 1 year warranty. I can also tell you that Engo has VERY good customer service and will sell you replacement parts for your winch in the future should you ever need any. I would want to know what the warranty is on that Ebay winch, can you reach customer service, and do they stock replacement parts for it...

Here is a link to Engo winch:

    https://www.rockridge4wd.com/i-2125...x-85-heavy-duty-roller-fairlead-97-12000.html

Search google, especially near black friday or Thanksgiving for coupon codes for rockridge4wd as they always drop 10% to 15% off coupons that work on their winches even if they are on sale. My 12k engo was like $312 shipped to me with a coupon code.

All the specifications are in that link. Yes it has steel cable, and it is 85 feet. I personally have 2 of these winches. One on my 2005 Tundra 4x4 that is about 7 years old and never had a problem with it, and used it over 100 times. I also bought a new one for my 2014 Tundra. I have multiple friends who also have Engo winches and none of them have had issues either. They are proven quality winches.

I have researched and trial tested many lights for this bumper and the only ones that fit are Rock Ridge 3.5" round lights (or any version of the knock offs). Cube lights do not fit so do not bother buying any.

Hi everyone, thank you very much for this great post. I just ordered both front and rear bumpers from their ebay store today. I had a question. Has anyone had to deal with the parking sensors? I find them very useful and I guess I have to drill the holes for them myself. Anyone had to do this?

    Thanks

Yep drill them in exact spot or close to it and thy should work. Not sure about the rear bumper as there’s some wizardry going on there with the cross traffic alert sensor so I’ve been told

Thanks, I found the following post which explains the removal of the rear bumper very nicely and describes the functionality of the cross traffic sensors:

    https://www.addictivedesertdesigns.com/news/2014-2018-toyota-tundra-rear-bumper-removal

From what I have seen elsewhere and step 14 here, it seems that it works using order and position. I will be installing these bumpers shortly after they come in and will post back on how I installed the sensors.

Anyone have an idea how long they will take to ship from KO?

I like custom front bumpers that don’t look like an after thought or square oversized blob hanging off the front end.

Here is one that I think look seamless, balances, and enhances the look of the Tundra. I am seriously considering the SouthernStyle bumper winch combo. If I am going to hang a bumper this will have to be it. Seamless.

I definitely like the way that looks, it's very clean. I'm turning mine into a weekend warrior and need something beefier. Also my 35s on -42 offset rims clip the bumper corners so I wanted to get rid of them.

Honestly, I'm still waiting for someone to say these are terrible for some reason. I just can't believe the price.. a month ago I was looking at bumpers at 2k for a single bumper, and today I got both bumpers, lights, and winch for 2k.. it just feels too good to be true

You have the 1 piece. It seem now it is a 3 piece design. Which is fine, but I personally think I don’t like all the fog light holes 2 is enough.

I have a 2017 CM and just took delivery of the DV8 set from 4wheelparts, local to me. The front is now 3 piece, actually 4 piece. The main piece to mount to the truck, the center bumper and two end wings... actually 5 including the brush hoop. I will get some detailed photos as I assemble it. Fog lights have a slotted tab above each of the four holes. Really simple and can't mess it up assembling this. The rear is one piece. 20190607_135126.jpg

I've actually purchased 3-4 bumpers from DV8 for my wranglers. I thought they were just fine.
The fitment was good. I believe one bumper had some rust build-up on the inner side, which was pretty easy to fix.

They usually at a price point that it's hard not to check them out...

It wasn't a hard install, just tedious for someone who wants it perfect and cannot quite get there. I'll make more adjustments later. Anyway, bolted up without any show stopper issues. I did it all by myself except for lifting them into place. I had to drill/tap two holes in the front for the "required" plate but it covers the winch hole which I'm not using anyway. The rear offers no adjustment. It is MUCH more substantial than the OEM setup. Love it! The plate holes are not U.S. spec so I need to drill and tap two holes there to center the plate. You have to cut your plugs for the plate lights and wire in theirs. Last, there's no place for the trailer lights/brake outlet so I'll have to fab a bracket from the factory metal and mount it underneath. Having it hidden won't be too bad and my trailer's lead is plenty long enough. The light holes can take up to 3.5" lights, front and back all have the 3 slot tabs. For the price, you cannot beat this set! Sells all day long for $1,492.00 and a couple places offer free shipping.... shop around.
