Did you have a bad experience or just not a fan of A&M?

I am a college/small town fan that is why I live here.

I grew up in Bryan, I moved to Franklin to be closer to work and live out in the sticks. Bryan/College Station has gotten too big for me... but I still go there for groceries and such. I bleed maroon, just don’t want the idiot drivers there to try to find out if it’s true lol

Ha! You said it, there are plenty of idiot drives and as you know the only good time on the road is in the summer when not many are at the University. This town has grown faster than I want but it is still smaller than Houston or Austin so I will take it for now. Franklin is nice, would love to find a good chunk of land out that way and build my next home.

I hate Houston and Austin, waaayyy too big for me! Yea it’s great out here, nice and quiet. Main problem is the price of land is INSANE!!

Agreed! Yeah, it's crazy how expensive land is getting.

I spent many of my younger years down in Normangee. I believe its sorta in that area. For as quiet as it is there, its still one of my favorite places.

Family had about 360 acres on the main property. Down the road we had 1800 for mostly hunting. Man, I still love that place.

Nice! I work with a few people from that area, and usually end up taking the deer I get to Theiss Sausage there in Normangee.
