I have a 2016 Toyota Tundra TRD rear sway bar with TRD off-road suspension. Is there any way of putting two shims to get one in of lift on the front suspension? I don't want to spend a lot of money to only get an inch of lift but I would like to add bigger tires and I just wonder if that would be possible. I have 275 60 20s tires on my truck right now. Do you think an inch of lift would be enough to clear 305 55 20s or 275 65-20 tires? Thanks

Yeah I’m pretty sure it’s doable. Just make sure you add a small bump stop extension.

    ditto...

Add 2 Coach Builder shims on top of your coil overs.

Add the bump stop extension and you should be fine. Without the bump stop extension you risk collapsing your shocks at full compression.

This is the lift i used to get 35s under my rig, it's by no means the best lift and will stiffen up the front end a little (i like it) and can be installed in a few hrs.
Did not have to trim anything or do body mount chop but did have to heat forward wheelwell bumper plastic about 1/4" for clearance and a slight adjustment to the front skid guard near the sway bar.

    Looks great!

How was your cv and UCA angles with that lift?

What was your tire and wheel specs?

Did you get a full 4” out of it?

CV angles is one negative part of this kind of lift, the boots will wear prematurely.
New UCAs come with the lift.
As i rember it was a 4" front 2" inch rear lift, would like to put the rear on mine up another 1/2"

Yeah I noticed that on the link. 2” in rear seems a tad low. Unless you want it leveled out. Personally I like the rake. :)
