If going to that tire would add a couple more inches, just wondering if they run fine or will need trimming done. i have 285's 55's r 20, i put them side by side and its a noticeable difference...

Cleaned up the truck and took a few pictures. This smoke in Southern Oregon is horrible so makes for tough pictures.

I fit 295 60 20 on my stock rims before putting my lift on. Just trimmed the skid plate. I now have it levelled with 6112's.

9CE0166C-FDFA-4EBD-AF90-1C7619C7FD3E.jpg I’m running 295/60R20 STT Pros on a 3”OME nothing to the rear and I’m perfectly level. I have CB bumper shims but other than that no issues.

Does anyone know if I were to put 295/60R20 Toyo Open Country A/T 2 on Fuel Vapor 20x9 with a 35 offset rim fit on a 2014?

A +35 or -35 offset? + you will have rubbing on the inside - you will have minor trimming on AT tires. Keep looking and find someone with as close as you can to your desired setup.

I know it’s an old thread but I have the same wheels and want to run the same size tire. I want to know do you have wheel spacers or are they just mounted and slapped on the truck. I have front bilsteins on top setting and judging by your photos that size would be perfect.

That’d be awesome, with the trucks close in color it would provide a better visual. Big Blue is what I named my ‘06 F250. It was a Sport as well. That thing was a beast. It’s why I chose the TRD Sport I have now.

I don’t know about the Bilsteins amount of lift vs OME but I’m not running spacers or anything. I did have to put coachbuilder shims for my front bumper in order to not trim or mold plastic. Hope this helps.

    Thank you for responding.
Bilsteins top setting should be about 2.75ish inches.
I’ll have to check out them bumper shims. I’ve read others have used them as well instead of cutting.

You should be fine. The shims are worth every penny, I’d highly recommend going that route rather than trimming. Let me know if I can help in anyway.

295/60/20 ridge grapplers on stock +60mm. Trimmed skid plate and removed front mud flaps. With a different offset I’m sure you could get away without trimming the skid plate. I just bought 1.25 spacers because the front tires are scary close to the UCA.

How bad of a job is the install? Any instructions anywhere? May just go ahead and buy some and install now. Then when I lift and upsize tires soon I will not have any issues hopefully.

Right less cutting is my thought. I'm no lift expert but it seems like there are a lot of expensive lift, wheel, & tire combos going on that are followed by much cutting. Those $94 shims seem like they would solve most issurs. That is why I'm asking if there is a downside I haven't seen.

Ehhh that looks a little sketchy to me. You aren't fully distributing the load across the backing plates into the frame. It's only on the bolts.

@Disfigurative My wheels are the ultra gunners from the TSS package and they have a +50 offset. I was thinking spacers if I was going to run a 12” or 12.50” wise tire but the tires I’m looking at are only 11.6” so maybe shouldn’t need spacers.

@lackeycc how thick are the shims. I work in a steel shop and we have various thicknesses of plate. I could possible cut my own. I plan on adding a SDHQ hidden winch mount and can make a template then.

If you're talking about the coachbuilder shims, they're .5".
