That's a shame. Those poor farmers work so hard and get screwed by mother nature. It Sucks

Totally agree, that’s why I support local farmer markets instead of buying from big box retailers

Me too buddy. I grew up working on and buying from small farms, I wouldn't have it any other way.

You need a harness for a 2md gen tundra, also you need 2018 sequoia headlights for 2nd gens. Unless you do a full 3rd gen front end conversion, if you do that the wiring harness is the least of your worries lol

I think you may need to make your harness. Or get together with @iHacker and @xrunnerdude67 to see both wiring diagrams, 2nd and 3rd gen diagrams I'd what I'm referring to.

Those aren’t the ‘18 LED headlights on that black truck. Look like regular halogens?

Yes in the picture those are the old halogen headlights and now he’s trying to install the new 2018 LEDs, harness is really simple to make but not sure what changes they made to the stock harness to convert from H11 (lows) and 9006 (highs) to H4 single bulb, if they kept the wiring untouched that’s a piece of cake basically the same harness but with the respective H11 and 9006 male connectors,

The rest is the same, turn signals, side corner markers, LED DRL and probably leveling system but I think second gens don’t have that option

For anyone who has used his harness, can y’all explain why I have tapped into the gray wire (I’m keeping Amber & Headlight DRLs), tapped into black wire, connected the wire running thru the firewall, and still not getting Ambers?

Luckily for me, iHacker and I live close to one another. I met him today to pickup my harness to swap out my lights for the full 2018 LED version and the quality is top notch. I would highly recommend his harness. I'll post pictures when i make the swap.

Side note: if anyone wants a pair of 2018 halogen lights with the 1 LED bottom running strip, shoot me a PM.

@iHacker, I have a lame question. When converting from an amber DRL (2015 SR5) why is a relay needed to power the LED DRL? Would it be possible to simply use the turn signal 3 to 2 wire adapter but utilize the third wire (amber DRL/Parking lights) and run it to the main headlight plug to power the halo LED's? I did this mod a month ago (used another adapter, sadly) and the DRL are on 100% full time and I had to do all of the repinning/ depinning. I like your version and iteration better. Would you consider making a custom harness? Let me know. Either way, I'll be PM'ing you in the near future! Strong work!

Nice touch from @iHacker to include a posi-tap on the SR5 harness. Those aren’t cheap but they’re way better than scotch clips! Thanks!

Now to get this headlight install rolling!

Ohh yeah posi-taps aren’t cheap but definitely worth every penny spent on, this make everything easy and no tools required to use it.

A relay is required to convert the Factory DRL signal, the factory DRL signal is ground activated from main body ECU this close the relay to supply switched power to the bright DRL, when low beam is activated this open the relay so the DRL bright is turned off and then parking light (violet 3rd wire in turn signals) is used to power the dimmed part of the DRL.

Doing a T-harness like the one you mentioned in your post will keep the DRL at 100% all the time and the LED will blink when using turn signals.

Looks great Brandon you're gonna love them. There is an easy mod you can do to keep fog lights on with high beamd if you wanna do that too. Would love to see output pics when it gets dark if you get a chance

I've gotten several PMs from members and new members asking about how to get a harness for their lights and who to go with. I also may have steered a few guys this direction when they were looking for answers on other threads.

If you want it to operate and function like factory, then get the $140 harness. That's including the shipping cost. That is the harness i purchased and work flawlessly.

Some from phone. Not best quality but, still look amazing. Light output is awesome. Best first mod ever.

Hello I Hacker. I'm upgrading to the 18' led headlights. I'd like to buy a harness for my 16' limited tundra. I need the harness with the factory drl dimming option. I'm working atm but I'll get back with you asap
